"I swear it true, Loki has a girlfriend. He has been courting her for the last two years." Thor boomed at the other Avengers, who all sat around the living room of the Avengers Facility.

Tony took another swig of whiskey before piping in, "How does the god of mischief wrangle a girl, and yet capsicle is still single? Did he magic her into loving him?" Tony laughed loudly.

"She was not spellbound, he actually wooed her." Thor defended his brother.

Clint looked into his cup, swirling around the clear liquid, "Probably using lies. God of mischief, and lies." He mumbled.

Thor slapped Clint on the back, "I know you are still mad at him, but my brother has repaired himself. I trust him, as should all of you. He helped save the people of Asgard. He helped stop Hela. If it weren't for him, we would probably be dead by now." The smile on Thor's face grew, he beamed thinking about Loki. "Isn't that right, Banner?" Thor focused on Bruce, who was trying to avoid this conversation.

Bruce nodded slightly, before focusing his attention on his hands. "Sure, I mean, he helped, but I still don't see that as a reason to trust him." Bruce looked at Thor, who's eyes had a hint of sadness in them.

Suddenly, they all went silent, as they watched the god of mischief enter the room. "Don't stop the fun on my account." Loki smirked at the group. "Don't worry, I'm just here for a drink, I'm not planning on taking over the world...today." Loki looked at Bruce and winked.

The room was heavy with awkwardness, as Loki walked to the bar, pouring himself a drink. Tony is the first to speak up, shocking, I know. "So, Reindeer Games, Point Break here tells us that you snagged yourself a woman." Tony smirked as Loki looked up from his drink.

Loki's glare shifted from Tony to Thor, "Did he now?"

"Yup," Tony popped the p, smirking. "So, when do we get to meet her?"

Loki's eyes didn't leave Thor's. "May I speak with you for a second, brother." That word on his lips, seemed to cause a bitter taste in his mouth.

Thor stood, walking beside Loki, as they made their way away from the group. As they rounded the corner, Loki threw all his weight at Thor, shoving him into the wall, "How dare you tell them about (y/n)! She was my only safe haven away from them, and now, well, now they are going to want to meet her. I can't allow that. If she meets them, what is gonna make her want to stay with me." Loki's voice filled with fear, he hated the thought of losing you.

Thor used this moment to push away from the wall and Loki, "Brother, I do not understand. You love Lady (y/n), why do you wish to hide her from your friends."

"Your friends!" Loki snapped at Thor, shoving him back into the wall. "They are not my friends, nor do they want to be. I could save the whole world, single handedly, and they all would treat me like an enemy. Why shouldn't they? I am an awful person who has done awful things, things that I do not regret." Loki shook his head, letting Thor go. Backing away from the god of thunder, Loki turned on his heel and disappeared.

You were making dinner in your flat, thinking about how everyone had escaped Asgard, and was relocated to earth. The relocation process happened without a hitch, luckily. You moved back into your old flat, which you never really left, you stayed there whenever you weren't in the castle. You were of Midgard, though no one, other than Hiemdal, knew. You never had the courage to tell Loki, though you loved him, he thought of you as an Asgardian woman, and you couldn't help but think that if you told him, you would surely lose him.

Loki, now, had your address, though he found it strange that you lived all the way in London, rather than opting for a place closer to him. Though he never wanted you to meet with the Avengers, he still wanted you close by. But, you had chosen to live at home, you had a job here, a life.
