A/N: Another request by my girl WriterGirlme! Sorry that I couldn't do the first plot, but I hope you like this!
"Are you sure about this?" You ask Tony, as the two of you head down to the training room.
Tony looked over at you for a moment, "No, in fact, my vote was to lock him in a cell for all eternity, but Thor is insistent. Have you ever tried to win an argument with a god? Not easy." The two of you entered the large elevator that would take you down to the training area.
"No, but I have won an argument with someone who has a god complex." You nudged him in the arm playfully.
As the two of you waited in comfortable silence, you glanced over at Tony, "Why me?" You asked. "Why not have Thor train him? I know I'd feel more comfortable keeping my distance."
Tony gave you a grin, "Thor can't project a hologram of himself, then disappear without a trace. I only know of two people who can. One's a god, and the other is standing right next to me." He placed a hand on the small of your back as the elevator doors opened, guiding you towards the waiting god of mischief.
Loki sat on a bench in the training room, looking rather bored while he read his book. As he heard the elevator ding, his head rose away from the words, and focused on the two Avengers walking towards him. He visibly tensed as the two approached. Though Thor had insisted that Loki had changed, Loki knew well enough that the others would never believe it. Hell, Loki didn't believe it. Not fully at least.
"Alright Reindeer Games, this is Copycat, and she's gonna turn you into an Avenger." Tony stopped in front of Loki, his hand still positioned protectively on your back.
Pulling away from Tony, you extend your hand for the god to shake. He takes your hand in his, but rather than shaking it, he places a gentle kiss on the top. You swear you hear Tony audibly growel at the interaction, causing a laugh to bubble up inside you.
Turing to him, you grin, "You alright there, Tony?"
"Yeah, whatever, try not to kill each other." Tony rolled his eyes, before leaning into you, "Don't trust him, he's the god of mischief, just remember that." He whispered before walking away.
You looked back at the god, who had yet to utter a word, "Let's get started." You extend your hand, yet again, this time as gesture to help him up. He declined, pushing his body away from the bench, still staying silent. "What? Cat got that silver tongue of yours?"
He rolled his eyes, turning to face you, "So, Copycat, what kind of name is that?" He mocks.
"What kind of name is Loki?" You quip in return. "But, Copycat is just my 'Avenger' name. My real name is, (y/n)."
Loki laughs, rolling his eyes again, "Like that's any better."
"Listen, I don't wanna train you, about as much as you don't wanna be trained."
"I highly doubt that."
"But, this is where we're at, so we could at least try and get along."
Loki scoffed, "Yeah, like we are going to EVER get along. I know my brother put all of you up to this. I am no hero. I'll never be. He just doesn't want the guilt, of pushing me over the edge, on his conscious."
You hadn't noticed, but he was slowly backing you into a corner. Suddenly, as your back hit the cold concrete, you pushed him back, turning him into the cold corner, "You think that's why your brother brought you here?" You towered over him despite being a few inches shorter. "You haven't had to listen to him go on and on about how his brother is changed, how he's different now. 'If we all could just give him a chance, we could see how much he's changed.' Blah blah blah!" You perfectly imitated Thor's voice, causing Loki's eyes to widen in disbelief.
