Setting is different in each arc/world

MC is a sidekick.
He transmigrates from world to world together with the host of a system.
MC doesn't have a system, he always enters the worlds a few years before the guy with the system.
He somehow is able to find the guy with the system and helps him complete his missions.
System guy doesn't know that there is someone that transmigrates to different worlds with him and helps him, only feels that the is always a guy that seems to resemble a person from the old worlds.

I don't know if I should make the system guy the ML or some other guy, what do you all think would be better?
