Chapter 3

One and a half years later~

Cataleya's POV

I woke up to my door being slammed open and people screaming at me to wake up ! Once I opened my eyes they started singing happy birthday to me .I looked at all of the familiar faces around me Mark, Sean , Conor , Cain , Peter, Rose and Clodagh .

Mark , Cain , Conor and Peter are all my older overprotective brothers . Sean wasn't my brother ... he was my boyfriend. After six months of knowing he each other he asked me out . Sean's mate rejected him and well we both moved on , together, Sean was 18. Mark and Cain were twins and were both 19 Peter was 18 and two days older then me and Conor was older then all of us at the age of 20 . Clodagh and Rose were both 17 and were my closest girl friends .

A lot had changed in these two years mainly I changed .

I was no longer chubby or unattractive and. I was slim but not model skinny, I had curves in all the right places and I had a toned stomach and slimmer face. My hair reached down to below my ribs and was usually styled in waves . I had dyed it black.

I was Beta of the pack and I was feared yet still loved by all pack members. Once Conor and Sean had finished training me I was the strongest wolf in the pack I was as strong as Conor, our alpha .

Not only was I good at fighting but I was also good at strategizing. I could fight with weapons as well as in my wolf and human form. Conor gave me the position since he trusts me and knows I can handle it.

My style and personality has changed . I was a "bad ass" now . I wore leather jackets , skinny jeans and combat boots most of the time. My face and ears were littered with piercings and my body had quite the collection of tattoos. ( bow ties are cool ~inside joke ) I didn't take crap from anyone and if a fight started you could bet your life savings that I would finish it.

I laughed at all of their behaviour and Sean lifted me bridal style down to the kitchen. He set me down at the table and four chocolate chip pancakes were placed in front of me along with a slice of chocolate cake and a strawberry cream filling !!! My favourite .

After I ate the pancakes and drank the mango smoothie that Sean made for me, we walked into the sitting room and I sat down on the couch with my legs draped over his lap .

"Happy birthday Cat" Sean told me . He leaned over and kissed me. I responded immediately and our lips started moving in sync. There was so much passion in the kiss it made my knees weak , luckily I was sitting down , I wrapped my arms around his neck and started playing with the little hairs at the back of his neck. He shivered at my touch he grabbed me by my waist and pulled me onto his lap . I ended up straddling him while we were making out .

Suddenly someone coughed and we pulled apart . I blushed and sat beside Sean hiding my face in the crook of his neck . He seemed mad about being interrupted so I started tracing patterns on his chest with my finger lightly. Touch always calmed down the inner wold. He calmed down instantly.

" You know this is sort of like incest. I mean Cat we consider you our little sister and well Sean you're our brother. Anyway stop making out on the couch like wild animals this is a room that all pack members are allowed into they don't need to be scarred for life by seeing you making out " Conor said amusement clear in his voice .

"Whatever Con " I replied

"Time to open your presents babe "Sean told me.

I got a Amethyst teardrop necklace ( that my wolf loved ) another leather jacket , a pair of high tops and combat boots , two new throwing knives and some clothes .

" thank you guys So much I love everything you're the best family ever ! " I screamed hugging each of them separately . " that's not everything yet Catt " Conor said while holding a small box .

Everyone went silent and I took the box carefully . When I opened it I saw a key ring with keys on it , I recognised my house key and car key but I didn't recognise the other key .

" go check the garage " Sean whispered in my ear . I looked at all of them and took off sprinting towards the garage . When I got there I screamed . Because right next to my Ferrari spider 360 in black was a Kawasaki ninja 600 in black.

I ran over to it and just screamed " OHHHH MY FUCKING GOD I LOVE ALL OF YOU SOOOO MUCH " if you wouldn't tell the two years here really brought my out of my shell and made me somewhat obnoxious.

They all came into the garage laughing at my reaction . I hugged them all and ran up to my room "I'm getting dressed then I'm taking that bad boy for a spin" I yelled .

When I got upstairs I had a quick shower washed my hair cleaned my body. I got out dried my hair and straightened it putting it up in a high ponytail . I put on some red lipgloss ,mascara and eyeliner . I wore some black ripped skinny jeans that I got today , my black combat boots a white tank top and a leather jacket .

I grabbed my keys and ran downstairs . " about time " Sean said . I looked at him and he was on his motorbike .I jumped on mine and we raced out of the garage onto the road that led to town .

We raced for ages and I always won. Eventually Conor mindlinked me telling us to come back.

When we got back there was a pack meeting . Conor told us that a pack near by had been getting threats from rouges and that they asked us for help. " I don't want to see an innocent pack die so we will be leaving at 6 pm I want our best warriors to go . Zach , Ronnie , Victor , Andy you will all becoming with Cataleya , Sean , Mark , Cain , Peter and I . We will meet in the sitting room at 6 do not be late Lucas our third in command will take over till we come back " . With that said everyone left excluding me and the guys .

"Cataleya I need to tell you something , the pack we are going to help is the Blood Moon pack , your old pack " Conor told me "WHAT ? you expect me to go back there after everything they did to me ? I will not go" I said , calmly , everyone knew when I got mad I went scarily calm.

"Well tough shit Cat , you're our best fighter and trainer so you have to go and that is final . I am telling you as YOUR ALPHA that you have to" he said back at me .

I looked at him with all the hatred I had inside " IF YOU ACTUALLY CARED ABOUT ME LIKE YOU SAY YOU DO YOU WOULD NEVER MAKE ME GO BACK TO THE PEOPLE WHO MADE ME WANT TO DIE . I hate you so much right now . I will go though . Now if you will excuse me ALPHA I would like to go pack for my death trip" I said glaring at him and spitting out the word 'alpha'. I know I'm being over the top but whenever my past is brought up it strikes a cord in me and I can't help but snap.

They all know better then to make me do something I don't want to .

Conor's POV

"Man you know how much she hates the alpha tone , not only that but your making her go back to get old back , did you forget ? They bullied her and abused her . HER MATE REJECTED HER AND HER OWN BROTHER DIDNT GIVE A FUCK . NOW YOU WANT HER TO GO BACK TO THEM AND HELP THEM ? You're sick and I don't want to see you anywhere near Cataleya unless it has to do with pack business" Sean yelled at me.

I knew I had crossed the line with Cat and I felt bad that I was making her go back but this wasn't anything personal. I'm an alpha and I have duties that cannot be changed based on personal relationships.

All of my brothers just glared at me and walked out of the room .

'what have I done ' I asked my wolf ' you made a big mistake ' he responded . I knew I had. This was such a hard topic with Cat. She acted like it didn't effect her but it did. Every now and then you could hear her cry herself to sleep mourning the loss of her family , pack and her mate. Who was I to force her to help the people who hated her , bullied her , broke her mentally and physically.
