(Two months later)
"I love you" Minho said, putting his arms around Chan's neck. He went to kiss him, but Felix groaned. "Really, Minho, now is not the time"
"You can talk," Minho replied, arms still draped over his boyfriend's shoulders, "Jisung told me you two were making out under the table in history." He indicated Felix and Changbin, and Felix blushed.
"Hey, don't bring me into this!" Jisung protested.
"You were already involved" Minho snickered.
"You didn't have to make it worse" Jisung replied.
"Hey guys!" A voice called out from under the table, "Changbin and Felix are holding hands!"
"Jeongin!" Changbin shouted. He didn't quite want the whole school to know they were dating just yet.
"I rest my case," Minho said, "Now let me and Channie hyung be gross in peace"
"Minho, we really should be heading to class," Chan said, giving Minho a quick peck on the lips, Felix still mumbling something about "at least it was under the table."
"I'll see you later, okay? Wait for me."Minho waited for Chan, as he always did. And they walked home together, as they always did. Those habits remained from when they were friends. But it was different now. When Chan came out of class, he was now met with hugs and kisses. Their conversations on the way home were spoken with hands intertwined. This was the way it should be. The way both boys were happy, and Minho wished it would never change.
They were sat on Minho's bed eating chocolate, which was a common occurrence while they were friends, and they were sure it would carry on for as long as they knew each other. It brought back memories from months ago. Memories of Minho stealing Chan's first kiss, as he was worried about it. Memories of the scent of coffee, and the taste of chocolate. Memories of the feeling after, and the nervous habit that showed itself because of it. He wanted to relive it all. "Do you remember last time we did this?" He asked, not really expecting anything but an acknowledgement of it from the older. Obviously, it was a stupid question to-
"Of course"
Oh. The memory of it lingered in his mind. He moved closer, his lips just inches away from Chan's. He stayed there for a moment before moving closer still, letting Chan close the gap between them. It was exactly how Minho remembered, except there was so much more feeling (Chan had improved as well, and the thought of that made Minho giggle slightly). Minho hooked one arm around Chan's neck, dragging the older boy on top of him. Chan then became more fierce, his hands finding the younger boy's waist. After a few more seconds, they pulled away from each other, both gasping for air. Minho smiled, and Chan smiled back, enjoying each other's presence in a comfortable silence for a moment. "I love you," Minho said, not expecting the other to say anything back. He never did; Minho knew Chan wasn't the type to use the 'L' word loosely. He believed in only saying it when he really meant it. Chan ran his fingers through Minho's hair, the younger melting under his touch, staring into his eyes in thought. "I love you too," he said, giving Minho a peck on the lips before lying down beside him. Minho felt a blush spread across his cheeks, pulling the sleeves of his hoodie over his hands again. Chan still had that effect on him, even now.---
A/N: I think I might do another chapter but it'll just be telling the story from chapter 4 onwards from a Changlix POV. How does that sound to you guys?
There will still be Banginho in that chapter if I write it don't worry 😉
