Dear God,
Sometimes I would hear Amy wonder aloud about the things that's happening to us. You see, dad isn't the best there is, only taking money instead of giving it to support us. Mom, on the other hand, is long gone, deep in addiction to drugs.
Amy worked her life doing part time jobs, earning small, while trying to keep me alive. For me, she is the best thing in my life. She's kind and loving.
And so I, too, am puzzled, as to why bad things always, always, happen to good people.
Do we really deserve that?
Love, Benny
