All of the students in Hillside Academy are curious. All of them wants to know the person behind the mysterious rumors lurking around the name, Miguel Fontanilla. Everyone has had their own investigations. Everyone has had their own suspects and yet no one has the slightest clue. No one knows exactly who is the suspect.
While all students of Class 4 – Star is in the computer room, and are busy studying the art of Photoshop a message came buzzing at every computer screen.
“The secret lurks beneath the halls where a simple girl suddenly falls… Selfishness reigned in the young girl’s heart… And if anybody crosses her path to MIGUEL FONTANILLA…I WILL TEAR THEM APART”
There’s a sudden silence that filled the room. No one dared to speak. No one dared to ask whoever sent the message. And then little by little conversations started to occur. But who would send this message? There are still flaws in finding out who would send this, for there are about ten computer rooms with thirty units per room and there is the computer library wherein about two hundred units are connected to one internet source.
If only one can trace each station’s connection then at least Miguel can have a clue. But no one can. No one in their right mind would risk their lives just to save the next girl that will be connected to him.
Miguel just sat there, his mind everywhere. Then another buzz coming from his Instant Messenger popped in his screen.
RonAlvarez: dude what the hell was that??!
MigsFontanilla: I don’t know man! It’s crazy!
BeaSy: u ok? U have any idea who sent that?
RonAlvarez: of course he won’t Bea! Migs is not the kind of guy who would blame someone for no reason!
MigsFontanilla: don’t talk to her like that Ron. Nope B. Not the slightest idea. Don’t worry about me. =)
RonAlvarez: not my fault why she’s acting like crap!
MigsFontanilla: fuck off Alvarez! Hey B? still there?
RonAlvarez: why did she have to join this conference anyway? Hey bea! I think you’re the one who sent that! I know that you’re secretly in love with Migs. I know! I know that you are in love with one of us so it’s got to be him!
BeaSy: You creep! It’s U!!! U DUMB-HEADED ASS!!!!
(Beatrice Sy left the conference)
RonAlvarez: What was that all about? she accusing me that I will send that?!
MigsFontanilla: She’s in love with you, you idiot!!
(Miguel Fontanilla left the conference)
So Beatrice Sy’s secret is out in the open. Everybody knew since their conference has been popping in and out of every screen in almost all of the computers. What a traitor technology is.
Everybody is looking at her when she excused herself out of the room. How lengthy the walk out was. And when she is out of everybody’s sight, she knelt down and cried it all out. She never returned to computer class so Miguel went to her station to gather all her things. That’s when he noticed that every screen he passes by, he sees the conference involving Beatrice, Ron and himself.
He hurried out of the room to find her. He hurried to the place where he and Beatrice would go when they felt that they needed to be alone. He found her there alright, but someone already got there first.
“Everybody knows B. They saw our conference. Apparently some insane person hacked Migs’ account.” Beatrice just sat there, crying. Miguel wanted to hug her, wanted to touch her, wanted to talk to her, wanted to be her ‘shoulder to lean on’, but can’t.
“You don’t deserve me at all B. You are way better than being stuck with a guy like me.” Ron held her face so that she can see that he is being genuine, that he is not saying all this just to trample on her heart. She just sat there looking at him too, her eyes pleading. Somewhat saying to give her a chance, to prove him that she considers him to be the best and that by all means they deserve each other.
Ron cannot look anymore, though he’s been treating Beatrice like trash, she’s still important to him. She’s the only girl who never gave up on him, once they knew how a ruthless bastard he really is.
“Sorry.” whispered Ron as he walked passed by her and Miguel just stood there.
Frozen.
He did nothing.
Nothing.
He just watched the love of his life fall apart.
After class everyone has been buzzing again about the newest message the suspect left Miguel. This time the suspect made sure, he or she meant business.

A smile played on my lips when I saw Miguel Fontanilla watching Beatrice Sy picking up the pieces of her broken heart after Ron Alvarez dumped her. Everyone knows that when the cat is away the mouse will come out and play.
Show her you love her Miguel Fontanilla before she disappears…
Or might as well consider this as a warning…
You wouldn’t want your best friend to vanish won’t you Mr. Fontanilla?
If I see that you’re behaving well, no one gets hurt.
