Finally, my relationship with Jack has become official. I'm proud to admit that we are officially dating.

It's already been two weeks since that little game of truth and dare and i realized that we both had real feelings for each other.

Unfortunately, i am receiving more attention than i have ever dreamt of. When i reach school premises, all girls look at me with envy and anger. They don't talk to me and never pair up with me for school projects.

Fortunately, me and Emma turned out to be good friends and she has always been there for me when i had a hard time at school. I'm glad that a friend like her is by my side.

On the other hand, my popularity among guys has increased enormously. During recess, when Jack is late to join me in the canteen area, some guys come to talk to me, well, it's flirt more than talk.

But none of them dare to talk to me when I'm with Jack, they are too scared of him. The only guy who doesn't mind talking to me in front of my overprotective boyfriend is, Blake Klavis.

Even though he is really annoying, I've got used to his jokes and inappropriate comments. I must admit that he is also now, a good friend of mine whom i can depend on.

I someone enjoy Blake's company even though our first encounter, during the truth and dare game, made me think badly of him. But i guess i was wrong and i was just over reacting. He is the kind of friend that will make you laugh when you feel down, which is really cute.

"Hey sweety!"

I turn around and face Blake angrily.

"How many times do i have to tell you not to call me that! It's embarrassing and anyway, if Jack hears you, he will get angry!"

He just shrugs and ignores my comment.

We both walk together to class. In first period, i have Maths class with Blake and Leon, who also turned out to be a good friend.

"Did you complete the calculus homework?" Blake asks me.

I nod.

"Maths is way too easy. Especially calculus which is by far, my favourite subject." I say.

"Well, even though you date the popular guy of the school, you still remain a nerd afterall! And anyway, Maths is clearly not my cup of coffee." Blake jokes.

We finally reach class and had a seat.

Sometimes, i feel like i spend most of the time with Blake instead of Jack. I'd like to spend more time with Jack, but we don't have any class together, and i have most of my classes with Blake and leon since we do science subjects while Emma, Laila, and Jack do economic, literature and spanish.

"Hey sugar, can you please help me out with calculus after school, please!"  Blake asks me.

Blake's seat is just besides mine in class, so literally, I'm always with him.

"What is with you calling me names! As from now, i don't want to be called 'sugar','sweety' or any other names!" I snap angrily at him.

"Okay, darling. So, will you help me out with calculus?"

It was useless talking sense into him. I just ignored the 'darling' name and answered him.

"I have a date with Blake today. I could teach it to you tomorrow during library periods."

"Ohh..great.. thanks darling. By the way, what are you gifting Jack tomorrow? " Blake asked.

I looked at him, raising an eyebrow.

"What do you mean? Christmas is in six months!"

"Eiinnn.. don't tell me he didn't tell you!"

"Stop beating around the bush and tell me what's up!" I say.

"Tomorrow, Jack is turning seventeen!"

Holy shit...

He never told me when his birthday was and being the stupid girl i was, i never  asked him.

After school, Blake asked me whether i would go with him to the shopping mall to buy something for Jack.

I didn't want to go with him. But since i had only one day to buy a gift for Jack, i had no other choice than cancel my date with Jack, and instead, accompany the annoying Blake to the mall to choose a birthday present.

His presence would also be of help since i don't have any idea of what Jack might want for his birthday and since Blake and him were childhood friends, he would know better what Jack likes.

"Why are you pouting like a small child who couldn't get her candy!" Blake asked teasingly.

"I don't wanna talk to you! You are just so annoying and i can't believe I cancelled a date to be here with you. And the only reason you are here is to help me choose a gift, but it turned out that you are a really asshole who couldn't help me choose anything! You don't even know Jack's tastes!" I cried out.

It was pointless to depend on him to help me choose. When i asked him about his opinion on each item, he just told me to decide on my own whether it would fit Jack or not!

We finally entered a small shop and my attention was instantly drawn to a black hoodie with a half heart on it. It looked like a boy's hoodie. I examined it. Soon, a sales girl approached me.

"Is it for your lover, dear miss?" She asked and i nodded shyly.

"This hoodie is sold in pair. Come I'll show you the other pair!" 

Blake and I followed her towards a small cabinet from where she took out another similar hoodie with another half heart.

"You see, this hoodie is a girl's hoodie. The heart seems more feminine and its the half of the one on the boy's hoodie. It's a perfect matching clothes for lovers." The sales girl exclaimed.

I examined it. She then handed me both hoodie so that i could think about it.

I loved it. But i hesitated a little. Jack has never been the kind of guy to do things like wearing matching clothes or half heart necklaces. He didn't even have pictures of him and his ex girlfriends. It would seem weird to gift him something which he obviously wouldn't like wearing. Even though I'm not sure whether I'm saying makes sense or not.

"Buy it! It's perfect."

I looked at Blake to see whether he was just joking or serious. To my astonishment, he was dead serious and a small smile was plastered on his face which warmed my heart a little.

"He will love it!" Blake said.

I was impressed by Blake. All the end, he did help me choose. And perhaps, since the start, he did help me. He ignored everything that wouldn't be a perfect gift for Jack but acted interested. So, all badboys did have another likable side to them.
