Chp. 9 I sign up to be a punching bag

Percy encased the Perseus in a bubble of fire so the girl couldn't see what was going on in there. The Olympians gasped and he somehow used the fire to his will and entered the bubble unharmed. And a few minutes of screaming the fire subsided and percy came out, his hoodie charred. The girl scooted away quickly "D-don't hurt m-me. I sorry for whatever I did." Percy smiled "don't worry, I won't hurt you" "that's what he said" Percy's expression turn dark "do you know who the Greek gods are?
"M-my mom told me about them"
The girl stuttered out "well their real and you're father is alive" percy looked like he wanted to...
(Lol you thought something else)
Take her into his arms and embrace her. "How do you know? You're lying! Just like he did!" Percy just lifted a finger and and of water and fire came out of the air. Percy spent the next hour telling the girl about Greek gods and ended with "if you make an oath on the river Styx.You will die if you break it,unless you're a god or Titan" her eyes grew wide "wow!" "Oh and if you make an oath, Thunder will rumble" the girl flinched at the word thunder
Percy noticed but did say anything "in return for me explaining Greek mythology to you, can I have your name?" "My name is Amber" Percy grinned "I swear on the river Styx I will not harm Amber unless you turn against me, harm me or if its your will" Amber gasped and tackle Percy in a hug.
"Oh and I forgot to add, Your my sister." The Olympians gasped and instead of glaring at Poseidon they started to cheer, alerting the son of Poseidon's attention. Percy quickly went in a defensive stance around Amber and pulled out back-biter and riptide. Poseidon raised his hand. "Calm down. We aren't gonna kill her like Zeus" Percy relaxed.

Artemis POV

I watched in fascination as Percy
Communicated with the girl without her being scared of him. I need to recruit amber to my hunters....wait I have an idea! Percy can be our guardian, he is the only decent man and our hunt is getting attacked lately. "Perseus?" I called out to him
"Yes lady Artemis?" I rolled my eyes. "I was wondering if you could be the hunters guardian?"
All the eyes of the Olympians turned on me, their mouthes ready to catch flies. "What? The hunt has been getting attacked lately." I said, irritated "I except under one rule M'lady" Percy said bowing down to me. "And what is that?" I look at him questionably.
"First,I nee time to travel around the world and Learn ma-" "just use your time powers to freeze time right now and learn and come back" I interrupted. Percy nodded and suddenly he was at the other side of the room, looking
worn out. "I'm back." He suddenly collapsed on the floor. I ran to him with the other Olympians. My idiot younger brother touched his head. "He used too much power" "And??" I demanded "He's in a coma"

Percy's POV

I woke up to a blinding light-"Apollo stop smiling!" I shielded my eyes against the reflective palace. I looked up, shielding my eyes and saw Artemis asleep on a chair next to the bed. I tapped her on the arm. She suddenly shot up and put her dagger at my throat. When she saw it was me she relaxed and let go "sorry, it came naturally" I just nodded. Suddenly the door burst open of Poseidon barreled through and tackled me in a hug. "Can't. Breath." I managed to say between gasps. He quickly let go, muttering a quick Apollo-gy. As soon as the other gods came in (and I explained that Hestia and Hades had secretly blessed me and didn't let me know until before) and I realized I had been knocked out and in a coma for one week I told them I was going to the hunt soon. I turned the lady Artemis. "Ummm...You forgot my other rule." Artemis motioned me to go on "I want to have a day off every week to visit family." At the word family,Hera jumped up "Caniadoptyouevenificouldneverreplacesally" "could you repeat that please?" I asked "Can I adopt you even though I could never replace Sally?"
She asked,almost scared. I grinned and hugged her."Of course you can"

After the gods visit percy and all of them bless Peter Johnson

"We're in Central Park, come and find us." Artemis flashed away. I grinned as I exited the throne room. I took a running start and dived off Olympus
