Veronica's P.O.V

We walk out of the school with our stuff and ready to go home.

"Ugh. I wish I had teleportation so I could just be at home in less than 30 seconds."

"Me too" I responded to Sammy.

"Hey, y'all wanna ride home? So you don't have to be riding those dusty ass buses.?" Alex asked.

"Sure. You down, V?"

"Yeah. I'm cool with that."

We start heading towards Alex's car but then I hear a familiar voice calling for Sammy.

"Aye! Sam?"

We all turn around and I could feel Sammy tense up. Because, well. It was Zion.

"That's your name, right?"

"Um. Uh, yeah. Sammy."

"Cool. Imma go start the car" Alex says.

"I'm going too." I add. I give Sammy a 'good luck' face and follow Alex.

Sammy's P.O.V

Oh my gosh. Zion is talking to me. I don't know what to do. What do I say. Why am I like this. Is this happening. Oh my-

"Soo. I just wanted to check up on you. You ran out of the class like you were doing the 100 meter run."

Oh my fuck. "Oh, yeah. I just wasn't feeling well. My stomach didn't like my lunch I guess"

He laughed. Oh wow his laugh.

"Alright. Well I hope you're doing better. Um. I was also wondering if I can have you're number. If that's ok."

Did he really just ask for my number. This is all too fast. "Uh yeah sure. Um, why tho? Not to be mean I'm just wondering."

"Oh. You know. Just homework checks."

"Oh." Fuck.

"Or if I feel like texting someone at 4 am."

"Oh. Ok. Just one more question. Do you sleep?" Oh god, nice joke dumbass.

"Sometimes." He chuckled.

I laughed my cute laugh. We exchanged numbers. 'Z💙' WHY DID HE PUT A HEART OH MY GOSH! I'm so lame I just put 'Sammy🤪' Ugh I hate myself.

"Ok. I gotta blast. See you later?"

"Yeah. Just look for a text." He winked at me, and left. Bitch my heart.

I screamed inside and sped walked to Alex's car, closed the door, and screamed out loud.

"Sammy, what the fuck!" Veronica said.

"DONT TELL ME THAT BITCH ITS THE BEST FUCKING DAY OF MY LIFE AHH!"

"Care to explain? What happened with kuwonu?"

I looked at them with a huge smile. "Ok first he said that he was checking up on me cause I ran like I was in track and then he said if he can have my number and we exchange numbers and he put Z with a blue heart and then he said that he wanted my number just Incase he wanted to talk to someone at 4 am which is weird cause who stays up at 4 it's high school but anyways I got his number and then when he was walking away this bitch fucking winked at me holy shit."

"WAIT WHAT?!" They both yelled in sync.

"YES!"

"OH MY GOSH!"

"TODAYS YOUR LUCKY DAY!"

The rest of the ride was just us screaming and blasting music till I got home.
