You and Betty had been flirting with each other for a while now and you finally built up the courage to ask her out on a date.
You both decided to go to Pop's as you both craved a milkshake after a hard day working at the Blue and Gold.
During the date you both made subtle touches and joking enjoying your alone time together away from the eyes of your friends. But half way through the date the bell above Pop's door chimes indicating that someone has just entered the diner. As you were the one facing the door you noticed it was Veronica. You hoped she wouldn't notice you as you just wanted to be alone with Betty. Unfortunately you weren't so lucky.
"Y/N, Betty hey why didn't you tell me you were here, I'd of come earlier" she said not knowing you were actually on a date and joined you in the booth while ordering herself a milkshake
" we just had stuff to talk about before we called you, V" you said trying to sound polite but deep down you were annoyed the date had been crashed.
As V went on and on about something about her Dad... again you looked up at Betty to see her also annoyed and took some whipped cream onto her finger then licked it off.
