Midtown School of Science and Technology

Peter had been taking an exam, ignoring the many alerts his senses were sending him. He tapped his finger against the desk waiting for the clock to show 2:25. He eagerly awaited the bell to signal school was over, as if on cue peter jumped before the bell rang. Thank you spidey sense. He chuckled internally as he ran for the doors, waiting for everyone to leave before him.

He looked around to see if there were any lingerie students. Seeing no one he jumped over the nearly 10ft fence with ease. He laughed to himself as he ran to his alley way, it wasn't his but he deemed it so. He stumbled to take his shoes and pants off, knocking over a trash can in the process. He then yanked his shirts off, and haphazardly put his suit on.

He smiled as he pulled the mask down over his face, immediately aiming his right webshooter to a nearby building. With every ounce of his strength, he pulled at the web and launched himself up. He practically giggled with glee as he swung around from building to building, until he found a good stopping point, "whew. Finally." He sighed.

"Hello, mr parker." the one, the only, the man who can practically flick his wrist and make anything he pleased happen, Tony Stark smiled. "Uhm, what? What're you...hey, I'm-I'm-I'm Peter." The awkward, bubbly teen stuttered. "Tony." Peter shifted awkwardly, "what're you-what're you doin here?"

Tony smirked fondly, "It's about time we met, you've been getting my emails right?" The billionaire winked at Peter after he said this, "y-yeah?" "Great! So now we're in business." Tony gave him a 'don't screw this up' kind of glare. After a very long and very awkward conversation. Tony left, hanging his head at yet another "failed" attempt at finding the wall crawling arachnid.

Present day

Peter sighed, swinging around and stopping small crimes here and there. He felt his phone vibrating in his pocket, he quickly picked up and answered. "Hello?" The man on the other end of the line said something that made Peter's heart drop to his knees. May, was gone. His rock, his guardian, his everything. Gone. He swung to a rooftop, sitting on the cold cement. He ripped off the mask amd held his head.

He bawled his eyes out, blaming himself over and over. Dumbass, idiot. Borderline, braindead, moron! Every word he thought brought another wave of tears to his eyes. He swung to the alley, changing back into Peter as he took a long, silent, heavy walk home. Once he got there, the police stood and had the same, robotical sympathetic looks om their faces. "Pack your things. Your going to the closest foster home. You have ten minutes."

He let out a breath he hadn't realised he'd been keeping in. He packed his things in silence, collecting backup webcartridges and fluid in one bag with his suit and clothing and memorabilia in the other three. After five minutes, he exited his, now old, room wearing the same broken expression as he followed the men to the car.

Avengers Tower

"A young woman died earlier today in an apartment in Queens, New York..." Tony read the name typed at the bottom of the screen. "Oh god." He said with urgency in his voice. "What's wrong, Tone?" Natasha spoke up, rushing over to him. "I knew her, she was that one kid I checked out's aunt. He's an orphan now. She told me he lost his parents and uncle and now he lost her." Tony nearly broke into tears, Steve entering the room soon after. "Tony, I thought about what you said and, yes, I want a kid too."

Tony immediately thought of an idea, adopting Peter. "Really!?" He jumped from the couch and hugged his husband close and started looking for where Peter was now located. After a looong search, he found it. Smiling up at Steve he spoke in a childlike tone, "we check there tomorrow!" Steve laughed and nodded in agreement.

Peter's new home

Peter entered the run-down building hesitantly. "How old are you?" A nice sounding voice asked him. "F-fifteen" Peter reluctantly answered the woman. She ushered the cops out and led Peter to where he'd be staying. Peter flopped onto the bed, luckily he was the only one in the room. He placed his bags over in a corner, but kept his spiderman gear under his bed.

He opened his eyes and welcomed a blinding light, groaning as he got up. He looked around and saw a few other boys in the room. Sighing he pulled out his, thankfully not dead, phone and scrolled aimlessly on Google to read headlines on spiderman. A title jumped at him 'Tony and Steve Rogers-Stark Looking To Adopt!' He read the obnoxiously long article until he read the address of where they'd be starting. His heart picked up pace as he internallu squealed. They're coming here! Shit! They're coming here.

Cap's car

"Tony we don't have all day!" Steve yelled at his zombie of a husband. "I'm coming! Geez..." Tony ran out and got in the car, and not long after they left. 30 and an extra 15 minutes due to traffic later, they arrived at where they said they'd start (A/N i dunno what to name it). Tony knocked on the door and the head mistress opened it, soon a shocked expression washed over her tired face as she recognised who knocked. "Hello, welcome to my home for the kids who need one. I assume you're here to adopt?" The two nodded in unison, "what age?"

"Definetly not a baby or toddler!" Tony glared at Steve. "13-17" Steve smiled at the lady. "Room 3!! Please come down stairs!!!" She yelled up the staircase. In all honesty, Tony didn't remember what Peter looked like, but he was determined to adopt him. The tired boys slumped down the stairs, well all except for one. They lined up in the living room, Peter awkwardly falling in line as he read on his phone.

Tony and Steve went down the line, starting at the end opposite Peter. They asked the essential questions and a few sciency ones to narrow it down. They soon got to Peter, "Hey web head!" a kid yelled at Peter, not knowing he was the web head of Queens. Peter jerked his head up, looking at his two idols staring at him. His eyes widened in shock and awe.

"How old are you?" Tony aksed immediately. "Fifteen." Peter answered shyly. Steve asked a few questions about what he liked to do and what all he was in to. Tony, on the otherhand, asked one simple question, one about his work. "I read your article on quantum mechanics and engineering with little to go off. Your Anthony Edward Stark and Steve Captain-freaking-America Rogers!" Tony smirked at Steve.

The boys were redirected to their room as Tony and Steve walked over to the lady. "We'll take web head." Tony smiled, realizing they hadn't asked his name. She smiled and nodded, "I'll be right back with him." And thus, Tony and Steve waited for their son to walk down the stairs as they filled out the paperwork and adoption forms.

Upstairs

Peter sat, staring out the window when he heard footsteps coming. The door creaked open, "Peter, pack up your things." He nodded, not quite registerring what happened. He robotically packed and head out the door. "Congrats web head!" The only boy he befriended smiled, and that's when reality hit Peter like an unexpected lamppost on patrol. He was adopted by Iron Man and Captain America!!
