Double Beach Date (Mullette, Lams)

John's Pov

I hopped out of bed, feeling crunk. Today had finally came. The day I was looking forward to. The day I had mentally planned out consequences for, keeping it up for at least 2 weeks. 

It was time. Me, Alex, Laf, and Herc's double date. But, oh, it wasn't just a normal double date, no! It wasn't those types of boring cliché   fancy restaurant dates, or those weird 'hang out for at least an hour at a café and go on with your day' type of date. It was a beach date. And, I had to say, it is a pretty unique thing. I mean, you don't really come across beach dates often.

I let out a sigh, getting onto the group chat titled "The Meme Team", consisting of me, Alex, Laf, and Herc. 

GayTurtleBoi: Yo, what time are we all meeting up at the beach again?

MyLittlePonyFetish: At, like, 12:00 in the afternoon. See you all there, yeah?

TheFrenchiestOfTheFries: Yeh, right, see you guys there. By the way, don't bother packing up some sun screen, I have at least 4 bottles left over from my trip to France. (Do not ask)

IWriteLikeImOnTheVergeOfDeath: Kay. I might be running late, I gotsta grab a cup of coffee and all... But I'll be there, promise.

GayTurtleBoi: Lex, you better not have pulled off an all-nighter...

IWriteLikeImOnTheVergeOfDeath: Haha, why would I? Anyway, I gotta go now, see you guys there!

GayTurtleBoi: Alexander!

TheFrenchiestOfTheFries: Okay, Au revoir mes amis!

MyLittlePonyFetish: Bye bye.

GayTurtleBoi: Okay, whatevs. Cya guys.

I sighed, heading to my closet to pack up my swim suits and other supplies I might need for the beach. Man, I can't wait any longer. Today's gonna be good!

*Awkward time skip, brought to you by yours truly, the introverted child*

Time had passed, and seconds soon morphed into minutes. 

I got out of my car, looking around to find my group of friends. I soon spot them, and I ran towards their direction. 

"Ayo yo yo yo! What's up, guys? Ready for a day of fun?" Herc and Laf turned around, facing me. "Hell yeah I am!" "Yeah!" I pumped my fist into the air.

"Hey, by any chance, has Alex arrived yet?" Herc shook his head, giving me a yes. "He's in that restroom, there," Laf pointed to a small wooden shaft. "He forgot we were getting into the water," Herc chuckled. Me and Laf joined in. 

"Hey guys. Oh, hey John. I see you're finally here!" Alex came running over to me, embracing me. As we pulled away, I stared at his figure. Absolutely gorgeous.

Laf groaned, getting in between me and Alex. I started to pout. "Yo, you two lovebirds can't just stand there all day! Come on, the ocean is calling us. Plus, I heard there are baby turtle nests nearby, I bet you'd like to snap pictures of that, eh Johnny boy?" Herc punched me on the shoulder lightly, I let out a chuckle. "Yeah, let's get going!" 

We all ran to the beach, listening to the waves splash and felt the warm sand between our toes. I grinned, running after Alex, him splashing me with water in return. We spent at least 2 hours running around the beach like a bunch of grown goof-balls, and decided to get out for a bit and eat dinner. 

There was a seafood shack right near us, and we decided to go and eat dinner there. We entered the place, taking in the scent of seafood and glancing around at the marine life figures. My eye had caught a particular sight, to be specific, a glass turtle figure. There were also a bunch of turtle hoodies, necklaces, pens, cups, t-shirts, you name it! 

"After we eat, I am definitely buying this whole section!" I told the squad, who thought I was joking. I really wasn't. It was a small section, anyway. And everything was 80% off, I was in total luck.

After we fueled up, I decided to buy all of the turtle merch. We also decided that since it was getting dark, It would be best to head home. 

"AAAH! I'm in absolute heaven!" I squealed. "Yeah, I also bought this little horse plush, too! Boy, what a day." "God, Herc. When will you ever drop your fetish for horses and ponies? Ay, Mon Dieu!" 

I checked the time, letting out a sigh of content. It was currently 7:30, and it was time to part our ways. 

"Well, today has been so much fun!" Alex said, grabbing me by the arm and clinging on to me. Herc sighed, "Haha, it sure was. I really needed this, especially since finals are coming next week. This really was relaxing." "Agreed."

I looked down to my feet, then looked at Alex, planting a small kiss on his nose. He scrunched his small face at me. "Well? It's time to get goin'. I'll see you guys tomorrow during class, yeah?" "Yeah... See you guys!" "Bye!"

I walked over to my car, unlocking the door, when suddenly... 

"Hey, you guys, I ran out of gas..." I heard Alex call out in the distance. "Yo, Lex, you can come over and sleep at my apartment." Alex's face beamed with joy, looking into my eyes, smiling. "Gladly!" "Well then? Let's get goin'"

*Another lazy ass time skip, brought to you by FRENCH MACARONSSSS*

Me and Alex had arrived at my apartment. We got out of the car, unlocked my front door, and walked inside. I had left the Tv on, and the lights were dim. "Make yourself comfortable, Lex. I'll set up another bed for you in my room." Alex gave me a nod, and I headed over to my bedroom. I opened up my closet, hulling out a big white foam mattress. I set it up right next to my bed, and laid sheets and pillows over it. I called in Alex, and he walked over into my bedroom.

We both prepared ourselves for bed. I threw on a light avocado green tank top with a turtle on it, and I threw on my pair of shorts. Alex had gotten into his sleepwear, which was closely similar to mine. 

We both got into our separate beds, throwing the covers over ourselves. "Night, Lex. See ya in the morning..." 

"G'night, John. Love you." "Love you too..."

We peacefully drifted off to sleep, Alex's light snores filled the quiet room. Goodness, today was so much fun. I'm looking forward to another day like this again.
