"Ah! There we go!" I cry.
"Yeah, that's it!" Uraraka replies. She presses her fingertips together and the rocks all levitate upwards to her command.
My arms are raised straight up in the air, shooting the rocks upwards.
"Alright!" Ashido cheers as she releases the corrosive substance.
"Release!" Uraraka's gravitational pull on the rocks is stopped.
A bright beam of light hits the rocks.
"Sparkle." Aoyama says, then a rock falls right on his head.
We all watch and flinch.
"Oh, that's it! [Last Name], that, that really was your dad, right?" Uraraka asks, as we focus on the rocks once more.
"Oh... yeah, that's him." I say a bit nervously.
"Oh, is he strict? He seemed in a hurry to get home." Uraraka ponders.
"Uhh, yeah. He's more strict than he looks.." I say, remembering his untidy appearance.
"Ahh, I see." She says.
."Now, do you know the answer or is it still confusing?" I ask, pointing to the paper in front of me.
"Um, no. Kind of. Yes.." Haru says in defeat.
"You're really bad at math, aren't ya?" I ask jokingly.
"I, no! Maybe.." He mumbles the last bit.
"Okay, hold on-wait are you sweating?" I ask, then place a hand on his forehead and yes indeed, he is sweating.
"Yeah, it's kind of hot... plus it's getting hotter lately." Haru adds.
"Guess you're right. Let me go get you water." I get off of the couch and walk to the kitchen. I open the fridge, find a water bottle, then decide to get one for myself.
"Now, where were we?" I sigh, then I gather up my hair to tie it into a tiny pony tail.
"Um, subtraction?" Haru says, unsure of himself.
"Yeah, probably." I giggle.
Then there's a knock the door and we both fall silent. I look at Haru, almost as if to say 'did you invite anyone over' but obviously not.
I stand up, walking to the front door, only to find my father already walking to open it.
I gulp, then trail behind him.
"A-ah, I'm sorry, is [Last Name] here?"
I swear at that moment I felt my stomach drop.
"Why, why the hell do you want her?" Gruff tone, he's just about ready to snap, too.
I walk to the front of the door and Midoriya says "[L-Last Name]?" and I tentatively raise a hand in a wave 'hello.'
"[Name], the fuck is he doing here?" He turns his hard gaze to me, and I glance an entire whine bottle in his hand, and the damn thing is half empty, and I'm confident in the fact that the bottle in his hand probably isn't the first one he had today.
"H-he's a friend." I stammer.
"Oh, I see." He grabs my wrist, and I panic. His grip is iron. I don't bother trying to free it, but I do move my gaze to Midoriya, just a quick glance, to see if he's caught onto anything. He stands there nervously, suspiciously eyeing my father's actions. I bite my lip.
"I'll be upstairs." He says harshly, and there I can smell the heavy stench of white wine.
Then he releases my wrist and sauntered upstairs.
