Serena groaned as she plopped onto her bed. Well, actually, that's what it felt like. She had a loft, so she had to climb up first. "Today was a long day..."
"Yeah," Dawn said. "We went through all four halls. It took at least 2 hours. This place is huge. But the tour guide did go into detail." Dawn quickly slid off her shirt and replaced it with a tanktop, her pajamas.
Serena rolled her eyes. "You don't need to narrate it like we're in a book and explaining things to the reader via our own dialouge."
"But if we were in a book, we wouldn't know it, would we?" Dawn said.
Serena shrugged. "I guess not. It's very doubtful, though."
"You're right," Dawn said, who had now fully changed into her pajamas. "You just gonna sleep in your clothes?"
Serena nodded. "I'm so tired. Goodnight."
Dawn flipped the switch, turning off the lights. "Goodnight."
Serena yawned as she fell asleep, and it felt as she woke up instantly. She yawned again, looking to Dawn, who was soundly sleeping.
"I better shower," Serena muttered to herself, grabbing a towel and walking down the hall to the girl's bathroom.
She took a shower, closed the curtain, and undressed. She turned the handle as the wet warmth soothed her stress.
After she had shampooed her hair and washed her face and body, Serena stepped out of the shower, drying herself. Lucky for her, classes didn't start until tomorrow, so she changed into into a pink tank-top with a matching flowy skirt that came down to about fingertip length (instead of her uniform).
Serena took her long, wet hair and quickly dried it with a towel, brushed it, and put it in a slightly damp ponytail.
Serena walked back to her room and closed the door. Dawn was in the room, scrolling through her phone. "Serena, wanna go get some breakfast in the food court?"
"You do know they serve things like pizza or asian food, not breakfast food, right?" Serena said.
"Those are breakfast foods," Dawn said.
Serena chuckled. "What the hell? Let's do it!"
"Yes!" Dawn exclaimed, (somewhat cautiosly) jumping off her bed. "How about we get ramen?"
"You do know they just serve instant ramen and make it more expensive than it should be, right?" Serena said.
Dawn nodded "Damn right I do."
Serena chuckled. "Again, what the hell?"
Dawn and Serena headed toward the food court, and both ordered beef ramen.
Serena struggled with the chopsticks (even with the aid of Dawn and the instructions on the packet), but the meal was overall good.
"Japanese food is so good." Serena said, smiling.
"Yep!" Dawn said. "But I eat it pretty much everyday, being a 日本人, so I'm kinda used to it being the best thing to ever exist."
"Whats a 'mihomjin?'" Serena asked.
Dawn facepalmed. "Good thing you're taking Japanese as your foreign language. Or maybe bad thing, you seem screwed."
"Hey!" Serena said, chuckling.
Suddenly, Serena bumped into somebody. But it was odly soft "Oh, sorry,' she said.
She looked up to the most beautiful man she had ever seen. He had dark skin, which ironically looked Japanese (ironic because of the earlier conversation), beautiful black hair and toffee eyes. His body was slightly muscular, but not in a disgusting way that was too muscular. He looked like somebody who could be soft and caring, but also fierce and dangerous.
"It's fine," he said. His voice was so beautifully deep.
"No Serena, you can't get into another crush. You just got rejected," Serena mentally scolded herself. "Besides, you don't have a crush on him, you're just noting that he's completley hot."
"Right?"
