"Do you have an appointment ma'am?" serious promise of the woman at the front desk near its office.

I pursed my lips.

"Hmm... I'm just being sent here."

"If that's the case then you can't get inside his office. You need to have an appointment to get inside. Once you have scheduled one to come back on that day," he said directly.

I pursed my lips for the second time. "Can you just call him on the intercom? Okay, go, he knows me. He needs my help and he hasn't even fixed this thing!"

"I don't work for you Ma'am," she stated.

"Not really because if you work for me I'll get rid of you right away." I whispered.

"Come again ma'am?"

"No! I'm not coming back yet. Tell your boss that he's going to ask the wall how to flirt!"

"You're late." I forgot to hear its baritone voice.

The woman at the front desk bowed.

"Good morning Sir."

I faced him. A glance at her. "Do I have a meeting right now?"

"This time is your vacant sir. You have a meeting with Mr. Tolendo before lunch." aniya. This rude woman looks like his secretary. In my estimation, he was only two or three years older than me.

He picked it up and then turned his gaze to me.

"I'm sorry about her sir, she was just leaving. She doesn't have an appointment. I told her to schedule an appointment if she wants to talk to you. I will call the guards now Sir." It reached the phone to the side.

"Excuse me Miss you don't have to do that because aali ---"

"Don't bother, Victoria. I forgot to tell you about this appointment."

The woman's eyes narrowed at me.

"Follow me, Miss Vena," he commanded.

It will walk first. I even glanced at Victoria, her secretary looked at me badly now that the boss had turned his back.

What's wrong with his secretary?

I adjusted the handle on the box then followed Braxton. I put the box down in the cabinet, it was as high as my waist.

I stretched out my arms. Seriously, it's hard to lift that box! I was in the middle of stretching my arm when it spoke.

"I don't know if you miss Vena but time is important to me. I don't tolerate tardiness especially if you're working for me."

He sat on his fancy high-backed swivel chair. I was so tired from carrying the box that I didn't even notice his spacious and luxurious office.

The furniture is perfectly furnished. The bright chandelier above lights the whole office and the interior design is amazing. Behind his desk is a glass wall.

"Miss Vena are you listening"

"Y-yes." I still stared at its office. I can't help but compare it to Dad's office, it's big and neat but it's not like this... It's beautiful.

"We should start now. You already wasted one hour of my precious time Miss Vena."

Beauty does not contaminate the habit of the owner!

"Time won't be wasted, if you adjust the appointment schedule. Remember you're the one who needs me," I stated.

He leaned on the table. "And remember you need me to miss Vena. Without my offer you wouldn't be here."
