The next few days went by slowly, which in a way I didn't mind. More time to relax and do whatever I pleased. Well except for Wednesday and today since it was raining. Although, I've kind of always wondered what a forest looks like when it rains. I don't count Bambi since it was a cartoon, one of my favorites at that. I mean I have a jacket and boots to wear but I don't really want to chance getting sick. On the other hand, sitting in my house all day is driving me insane. Then again, maybe I'm already insane especially when I discovered "Nick's" true identity the other day. He hasn't came over since much less try to speak to me in any fashion. Maybe he's changed his mind about tomorrow, even if I am contemplating on whether I want to go or not. I do because I want to know why the hell he has been deceiving and lying to me. Why he was being nice. Was he just trying to gain my trust before he tries to attack again? Did he mean everything he had been saying? No, there's no way, if he did he would have came out with the truth in the beginning. He wouldn't lie to me constantly and act like he cares. Somehow I think he stays in Shadowlyn and that's why he hasn't invited me in any way. I don't want to go there or the forest to hunt him down but I still want answers and I don't know if I want to wait until tomorrow when it won't even be guaranteed he will show up. He made his point he was saying goodbye so why not go to him myself? If I want answers, I'm going to get answers. Screw it, I'm going.

I grabbed my jacket, boots, and keys and headed out the door. One thing I don't understand, I'm kind of excited to go back to Shadowlyn because I feel a pull there and it's something I don't understand. Any sane person would want to stay as far away as possible and forget that place ever existed but not me. I always wanted to know more, I wanted to know everything that place had to offer. More than any book or internet research revealed. I'm surprised I even remember the way to that wretched yet curious place. This time instead of being curious and scared, I was curious and pissed. Once I entered the estranged city, I parked close to the cemetery where I knew the way to it and luckily nothing happened to my car. I got out and started walking around and entered the cemetery and there I seen him. The wolf I remember so clearly laying by a grave, I'm not sure if he was asleep or just had his eyes closed as I made my way towards him. Since he wasn't paying any attention or ignoring my existence completely, I decided to look on the grave stone and read the name. It read "Khissa Sinclair 1512-1538 Beloved Wife You Will Never Be Forgotten" This girl was only 26 when she died or almost 26 depending on the date. I looked over at Ren who was now staring at me but not with anger, I couldn't really tell what his expression was, kind of hard when he is a wolf and not a human being. "I would rather you change, you look as if you have things to say and I have questions Ren, or shall I still call you Nick?" With that he slowly changed to the appearance I once knew with the eyes going back teal with a hint of red inside them. As bad as I don't want to admit it, he is handsome in his own way. I would probably admire more if I wasn't as pissed.

"What are you doing here?" He asked casually.

"Looking for you. I thought about the forest since you're a werewolf but I had a feeling to come here so I did and found part of what I was looking for. Why do you care what I'm doing anyway? You wanted to say goodbye and ignored me the past two days. Tomorrow probably wouldn't have been any different. So I decided to come find you."

"Why?"

"I want to know why you were lying to me this week, even if we only did see each other a few days. I thought I was making a friend since I have none around here, and you go and lie to me. You screw with my feelings and you deceived me. I want to know why?"

"First, I'm curious as to how you figured it out."

"It wasn't as hard due to when I mentioned my friends, especially Max your eyes changed for a minute. They done it before but just quickly. I'm a very observant person."
