My eyes heavily opened from the night of tossing and turning in the back seat.  It was still dark out which meant it was early.  I reached over and grabbed my phone from beside me.  I switched it on and it read 3:02A.M. Great. My phone was already almost dead so I turned it off and put it down.

Ahren's head was resting against the window with his arms crossed across his chest. He looked like a normal everyday person when he slept,  but I knew he wasn't.

"Staring is impolite."

"Sorry I um thought you were... sleeping."

"It isn't easy to sleep in a car" He shifted.

" So you didn't sleep at all? " A nerve inside me was unwinding at the though of him just sitting there while i slept.  Maybe it's the fact that he could have killed me in my sleep with his bare hands.

"No. I didn't sleep."

"Oh."

The sky was still dark and the moon still hung high over the trees but I couldn't even close my eyes to try and fall asleep again.

"My club is right down the street" He said all of a sudden.  What?!

" It's in walking distance. I wasn't going to take you there because of the kind of club it is but it should be less crowded by now."

My mouth hung ajar.  You mean I didn't have to sleep in my car? What kind of club was it to the point where he didn't want me to go?

"Come on I need to shower and eat" He opened the door and got out. To my surprise he came over and opened the door.

" I may be an asshole but I'm still a gentleman."

"Sometimes" He whispered under his breath and started to walk through the trees.  I hesitantly followed behind him.

" We're almost there " He said after about 20 minutes of silent walking.  The sky started to become a lighter shade but it still didn't make it easier to see.

As we continued to walk,  the uneasy feeling of being watched slowly made its way into my mind.  I tried to shake the feeling off but once I heard something snap behind me I stopped dead in my tracks.

"It's just the wind" Ahren shook his head and continued to walk forward.

I didn't move. Lets be honest, I was terrified to be out in the middle of the woods and not be able to see two feet in front of me.

"Come on Raven" He groaned and stopped,  turning to face me.

"Can I just go back to the car" I huffed trying to look back to where we just walked.

"No" he began to walk closer to me and before i knew it i was over his shoulder.

"Put me down" i yelled-whispered, just in case a murder was out here.

"Nope" he said popping the p. I was humiliated but at least there was no one around.

I tried to get him to just put me down but he just continued to walk leaving me dangling behind him. I heard the club before i saw it. The lights  eventually shown through the trees and i was officially terrified of where i was going.

"I'm putting you down now. We are going to walk through those door and you will just follow me. Don't. Talk. To. Anyone. " Why is he so serious all of a sudden?

He flung me over his shoulder and i pretty much fell to the floor. This already wasn't going to be my day. While he walked up the damp stairs from the early morning fog i was simply in awe of all the extremely expensive cars parked along side the building.
