Starflights twin sister from same egg but since talons of peace only need 1 nightwing they separated the two and made Starflight the dragonet of destiny. But sadly Starwind took with her the nightwing powers that should be with Starflight: future telling, mind reading.

The wind tore at your big wings as you flew towards the Bay of a Thousand Scales. You had been sent on a mission by the nightwings to deliver a message to Princess Blister.

The wind was almost unbearable, it ripped at your huge black wings that were speckled with star scales on the undersides of them, threatening to blow you into the ocean. Three moons where is that Sandwing? You thought.

Where you just imagining things or did you just see something sky blue, as big as a dragon, moving in the water? You tucked your wings close to your body and dived towards the ocean.

The wind blew a huge gust at just the wrong moment, making your only-half-open wings go fully closed and unable to open. You went toppling through the air and heading straight to the ocean.
What is that? You heard a dragon think.

The impact of you hitting the water knocked the air out of you and the saltwater stung your eyes. You struggled wildly, trying to get to the surface but a current dragged you back down. "HELP!" You screamed through the bubbles, but no one could hear you. So... this is how it ends? Drowning alone? You thought. When you could no longer keep conscious you let the darkness overcome you, and you slipped into unconsciousness.

You awoke on a beach coughing and spluttering and coughing up bad tasting seawater. You then spotted a sky blue seawing. Ah, so she is alive. The seawing thought.

"Who-who are you?" You stuttered. Great now I sound like an owl. You thought bitterly.

"My name's Riptide" he said, grabbing your forearm and hauling you up.
"I'm Starwind" you said.
Wow she's so beautiful! The seawing thought.

"Do you know where I can find Queen Blister?" You asked. You almost forgot you mission! "I have a message from the nightwings for her."

Riptide shook his head. "Sorry, I don't" he said. "Are you hungry?" He asked.
"Yeah, I suppose" you reply, not taking you gaze off his handsome face. He suddenly dove into the ocean. Well, that was sudden. You thought.

Riptide came back about five minutes later. Hope she likes fish. He thought.
"Ooo, fish! My favourite!" You thought.

After talking and eating for a while he said out of the blue: "I-I think I'm in love with you!"
"I am in love with you too, Riptide" You say.

"May I compare you to a summers day?" Riptide said.
"You mean when it hot and sticky and gross" You ask.
Riptide thought for a second.
"Your my special snowflake" he said.
"Nice save" you say back.
