3 MONTHS LATER

"And your new Mr. Money in the bank, Seth rollins!" Justin Roberts yells, making me smile from my spot, sat between John and Lexi in Roman's locker room. "I knew he'd win!" Lexi shouts, clapping. I shake my head at her. I look at John, who looks a little disappointed. I bite my lip as Seth walks through the door, a grin on his face. I stand up and wrap my arms around his neck. "Great job baby." I mumble in his neck. "Why don't we go back to my locker room." He whispers in my ear, making a smile tug at the corners of my lips. I giggle quietly and turn back to Lexi and John. "We're gonna go back to Seth's locker room. I'll see you guys in a bit." I hug Lexi and John bye and then Seth and I leave. My stomach starts to hurt, and I contort my face in pain. "Are you feeling ok?" Seth asks worriedly, looking me over. I put my hand on my stomach, groaning a little. "Not really. But I'll be fine." I try to give him a reassuring smile, but my legs give out. Seth drops his briefcase and catches me. "Woah. I think we need to take you to the trainer's room." He says, picking me up gently. He bends down and grabs his briefcase before he starts to walk again. I lay my head on his shoulder and squeeze my eyes shut. This really hurts. "Hey." Seth whispers, nuzzling his head against mine. "Mm?" I mumble, opening an eye. "What's wrong, love?" He asks, concern laced in his words. "M-my stomach hurts." I say, barely audible. Seth opens the door to the trainers room and sets me on the table. I instantly miss his warmth. I curl up into a ball on the table and the trainer comes over. "Miss Carter, what's wrong? You're never in here." He asks worriedly. I moan, holding my stomach. "Her stomach hurts. And she almost fell in the hallway." Seth says next to me, his arms crossed over his chest protectively. He nods and starts poking at my stomach and asking me questions. "I think you should go to the hospital, Miss Carter. I can't find what's wrong." He says, shaking his head in confusion. "No. No, I can't. I have to go out and watch the last match with hunter and Stephanie." I say, looking to Seth with pleading eyes. Seth looks to the doctor/trainer. "I wouldn't recommend it... But it might help if she puts a heated pad on her abdomen until that. Just, please Miss Carter, don't do anything strenuous." He tells me. I nod my head and carefully swing my legs over the edge of the bed. "Thank you doctor." I say, my voice hoarse. Seth helps me out of the room and we start down the hall. "Are you sure you don't want to go to the hospital?" Seth asks, looking at me worriedly. "I'll be- oww- I'll be fine." I say, clutching my stomach. Seth scrunches his eyebrows at me. "How long has your stomach been hurting?" He asks, pushing open his locker room door. He ushers me over to the couch in it. "It hurt a little yesterday, but I just thought it was my period." I admit, laying on the couch. Seth puts down his briefcase and grabs a heat pad. He warms it up and hands it to me. "I'm coming out with you later. I want to make sure that you're ok." Seth says softly, sitting on the couch near my feet. "Do you think it's just your period?" Seth asks, rubbing my leg comfortingly. I shake my head. "I don't know. When I was in high school, it used to be bad. But then I met... Um... My ex... And I couldn't.... Tell. But it hasn't in awhile." I say, straining my voice to come out right. Seth crawls next to me, so he's laying on his stomach between me and the couch. "What happened with your ex, Emi? Please tell me. You told me that you have dreams about him, but you never told me anything else." My eyes instantly start to water. "No, no, no. Hey, don't cry. I'm sorry. We don't have to talk about it you know. I was only asking, baby. It's ok." He says, wrapping an arm around me and placing a kiss on my shoulder. "No. It's fine. I should tell you anyway..." I swallow the lump in my throat before taking a shaky breath. Seth turns so he's propped up on his elbow. I close my eyes, taking a deep breath. "When I was in my last year of high school, I met this guy. He was a few years older than me... But he payed attention to me. And I was in a bad place, I needed someone. John was already wrestling, so it was me and my parents, who payed more attention to themselves. At first, he was great. He bought me things, took me places over Christmas and spring break, and he seemed like he loved me. But after high school, I moved in with him and my parents didn't like it. So they told me I couldn't come home." By now, the tears were flowing down my face as Seth caressed my cheek with his free hand, trying to wipe away the tears. "And then he started hurting me. He'd hit me and cut me. Sometimes he would even burn me," My voice was shaking and Seth looked like he wanted to throw up. I bit my lip, looking away. "He raped me too. So I thought I must be worthless for someone to do that to me.... So I started cutting myself. I was really depressed and I thought he was gonna kill me sometimes. So I'd provoke him.... Then one day, I woke up in a hospital room. John was sitting there, crying. Apparently, my ex had beat me so bad..... That he had to drop me off in the parking lot of the hospital so I could get stitches and get checked out. He... Dropped off all of my stuff with me..." I stop, l look up at Seth to see that he was tearing up a little, his eyes closed. "That is sick, and disgusting. If I ever see that guy, he's dead." He says behind clenched teeth. He looks at me and I shake my head. "He's in prison for the rest of his life." I explain. I clutch my stomach as I'm brought back to reality. I groan and Seth rubs my side comfortingly. "Thank you for telling me and letting me in. This means a lot." He whispers, his hot breath hitting my neck. I nod my head. "Can you tell hunter and Stephanie that I can't... Go out there?" I groan, trying to steady my breathing. Seth nods, climbing over me and standing up. He kisses me lovingly on the forehead before he opens the door. "Dean, what are you doing here?" He snarls. I look over to them and see dean standing there in shock. "I, um... Never mind. I'm leaving." He turns and walks away. "I'll be back. I love you." Seth says. I reply a quick love you before he shuts the door behind him. A few seconds later, the door opens. Dean prances over to me. "Go away." I mumble, holding my stomach as I turn away from him. "I can take the pain away princess." He whispers in my ear. I get shivers up and down my spine. "I don't want you dean. I'm in love with Seth." I say sternly. Dean laughs, sitting on the edge of the couch. "For once that's not what I mean. I mean some of these." He shakes a bottle of pills in front of my face. "I don't want pills dean. I'm going to the hospital for my stomach in the morning." I sigh, turning so I'm laying on my back and looking at him. Dean shakes his head. "Just take 2. They're pain killers. I have them from when I cut open my chin." He hands me the two pills. I reluctantly take them. He gets up and comes back with a bottle of water. I hesitantly take the bottle and swallow the pills and drink some water. The door opens and Seth walks in. "What the hell is he doing here?" Seth asks bitterly. "Making your girlfriend feel better." Dean smirks. Seth blows out a puff of air. "Steph said that we could go back to the hotel." Seth says, starting to change like dean isn't even here. Dean leans down to my ear. "I heard what you told Seth, princess. I'm sorry." He whispers. "Ambrose, get out!" Seth says, pointing to the door. Dean saunters out, patting Seth on the face. I lay there, stunned. Was he actually being sincere? "Baby, let's go." Seth says, starting to help me up. I stand up a lot easier than before. "I think I'm feeling better now." I say, and Seth let's go of me, although his hands are still close to me. "You're still going back to the hotel. I'm not letting you stay here." He says, placing his hand on the small of my back. I nod, leaning into him, now feeling suddenly drowsy. I close my eyes as we start to walk. "Can you mmmMmm MmmMmm?" I mumble. Seth chuckles, picking me up bridal style and walking us out of the locker room.

I awake to someone trying to unbutton my pants. I groan, swatting their hands away. "Sorry baby, I was trying to get you out of this suit." Seth says. I open my eyes, smiling tiredly at him. "It's alright. I got it." I tell him, yawning. I take off my clothes, leaving me in my bra and underwear. I reach my hands out for Seth's shirt and he chuckles, taking it off. He takes off his pants, so that he's wearing just his boxers, and climbs into bed, handing me the shirt. I slip it on and cuddle into his side.
