Chapter 8

Kelly P.O.V

Leaving behind the place you grown up is something really very hard but leaving your mate, is devastating.

I had nightmares of Seth killing Xavier and our baby. I will be giving birth any day now.

Red claw pack had accepted me as their Luna. They don't know that I am not married to their Alpha. Like everyone else present at our wedding assumed that I had fainted after saying 'I do'.

I had not gone out of my room or mingled with anyone. Michael and I, we stay in the same room. He had even told everyone that the pup is his.

Sleeping in the same room doesn't mean sharing the bed. He sleep on the couch while I have the bed all for myself.

When you look around his room all you will see is his Luna. He had literally covered every inch of his room with her pictures. He offered to take it off but I declined.

This room and even Michael is still hers, and no one can ever replace her in his life.

Like no one can ever replace Xavier in my life.

I laid down on the bed after having my dinner. Michael was sitting across me working on his laptop.

I closed my eyes to sleep.

"Aaaaahhhhhh..." I screamed in horror as the burning sensation spread in my private part to my stomach.

"What happened Kelly.?!" Michael held me closer. I clung onto him and rubbed my legs on bed to get rid of the pain.

"My...my inside burn.." I cried. The pain was so intense. For some reason I knew it was not the labour pain. It was something else.

I felt him froze while I desperately tried to get rid of the pain rubbing my belly.

"I am sorry." with that he grabbed my face and smashed his lips on mine kissing me hard. And the thing that shocked me was when I found myself kissing him back with the same desperation.

His hand caressed my belly and my thighs. The burning sensation I felt started to cease. I pulled him down with me never breaking the kiss. He made sure not to squeeze me.

He balanced himself with one hand and massaged my belly with the other. I felt myself getting back to normal when he broke the kiss.

"You okay.?" I was breathing heavily but he didn't even looked fazed. I just nodded my head in response. The temperature was icy cold but I was sweating profusely.

He pecked my lips and sat up straight on the edge of the bed.

"What just happened.?" I asked not able to process the intimacy we just shared.

"You wont like the answer."

"But I want to know." I sat back up and placed my head on his shoulder. He was silent.

"Please."

"Your mate just had sex with someone." it felt like someone removed my heart and sliced it into several pieces.

"Tell me you are lying." that's the only thing I managed to say before my vision blurred with tears.

"I am not, I kissed you because it helps to cease the pain when you get intimate with someone too."

"Why would he do something like that.? And...and did he felt the pain when you kissed me.?" my mind had stopped working at this moment. Xavier, my mate is having sex with someone. Touching someone in the places he should never touch.

He was making love with some one while I am carrying his child in a hope one day we will reunite.

"No, Alpha male don't feel this kind of pain." I wish he felt it. I wish he felt what he made me feel.
