"What do you want?" I asked glaring at him.

"What happened to you today?" He asked me.

I looked at him realizing that it indeed was not Aaron, but it was Steven.

"Sorry I thought you were Aaron." I said looking at him apologetically.

"Hey, I've been meaning to ask you a question about that." He said eyeing me skeptically.

"Okay go ahead, shoot." I said waiting.

"What's been going on with you and him lately? It's like every time one of you guys enter a room, the other sighs, or huffs with annoyance and leaves. And trust me, I'm not the only one whose noticed. Vanessa and Emma noticed too, and if you guys don't cool it soon, they're going to split us up." He said a little to serious for my liking.

"We need to cool it? No no no. I think you mean he  needs to cool it. He's the one that hates me for some stupid reason that I don't even know. Why don't you go tell him to stop acting so stupid so we don't get split up?" I said a little bit more edgy then I intended.

"Ooh fiery." He said jokingly.

"Shut up!" I chuckled.

He laughed too.

"But I'm serious, you have to keep quiet about this though, because-

"Keep quiet about what?" I heard voices say.

Both me and Steven looked to see who those voices belonged to.

I watched to see a curious Vanessa eyeing us skeptically, and an pset looking Aaron huffing and not making eye contact.

"Uhh......Hey guys?!" I said laughing nervously.

"Dont' 'Hey guys'  me. What's going here?" She asked, still eyeing us.

Aaron stayed quiet.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Yeah, just a couple of buds hanging out and talking." Steven finished for me.

"Mhmm. alone?" She asked.

Steven and I both looked at eachother and back at them.

"Yea, and so close?" I heard Aaron mutter.

Me and Steven looked at eachother and I stepped back with a blush creeping unto my cheeks.

"Hey why do you even give a rats ass?" I said to Aaron my voice getting a little bit louder.

"I don't. I just don't wanna see my best get hurt from some whore." He said bitterly.

"Um escuse me?" I asked way beyond irritated

"Kaylie," Steven started.

"I know what's going on here." Vanessa interupts.

"You do?" Me and Steven say at the same time.

Please don't tell me she knows, she can't know.

Was she eaves dropping?

I decided to play it cool.

"No you don't because if you did, you woiuld know that there is nothing going on." I chuckled nervously.

Steven elbowed me as a sign to just stop talking.
