Eating Rubber Ducks

"Omigosh what are we gonna do?!" I half yelled at Steven.

"We could some how manage to get all the phones from everyone in school an-"

"And what?! Delete the pictures? Gosh Steven, everyone already saw the pictures. And how would we manage to get our hands on the phones of all the kids in the school? Think boy think!" I said smacking him upside the head.

"Sorry, you don't think straight when your nervous." He said to me.

We were currently in our dorm.

I was pacing around the room, and Steven was staring into space as he sat on the couch.

"Hey, why'd you kiss me on the lips anyway? I thought we agreed during our awkward stare-off that it would be on the cheek?"

"Hey don't say a word smithbird, your the one that turned their head when I was trying to kiss you on the cheek. Wait?! Why do you even care that's not what we're worried about." I said.

He avoided eye-contact with me.

"Omigosh, there's someone you like isn't there?"

He didn't look at me instead he just looked down.

"Awwwe. who is it?!" I asked excitedly.

He didn't answer me.

"Boy if you don't tell me who it is, I'm going to let Emma read your aura and tell me way more than I'm asking for." I said.

His eyes widened and he looked at me to see if I was serious.

"Take a wild guess." He said to me.

"I don't know anyone in this school." I said back.

"Exactly, that's why I asked you to guess. Since your new, there's little people you know so it's easier to guess." He said to me.

"Is it Ashley?" I asked him scpetically, trying to see if he was lying.

"Nope." He said staring into my face, daring me to guess again.

"Is it Breanna?" I asked him.

"No." He said.

"Emma?" I asked.

"No." He replied.

"Elizabeth?"

"No."

"Elisa?"

"No."

"Deliah?"

"No."

"Kayla."

"No."

"Damn who is it?" I asked irritated.

My eyes widened in shock.

"Are you gay?" I asked in disbelief.

"NO!" He yelled disgusted.

"Why are you disgusted? Are you prejudice against gay people?" I asked in shock lowering my voice.

"No, I'm just not gay."

"Hmm." I said thinking.

"The only other girl I could think of is..."

I looked at him in shock.

"You like-" He cut me off.

"Yes."

"Awwe." I said sitting down next to him.

I put my hand on leg.

"That is so cute." I said to him.

"Wait, then why did you tell her we were going out?" I asked him.

"I was just trying to help you, but if  you  insist I tell her the truth.." He trailed.

"No!" I yelled, "Fine, But we need to think of a plan first, and an excuse." I said to him.

I heard the door open and there stood Vanessa and Aaron.

""Awee you guys just can't get enough of eachother." Vanessa cheered, walking to her room.

"Why don't you get a room." Aaron said through gritted teeth, as he stalk away.

"What's his problem?" I asked Steven.

"Really?" He asked me.

"What?" 

"Nevermind." he said.

"So let's just do this out for a couple of months, and then publicly break up or something." I suggested.

"Ughhh. I hate those they are so annoying." He said rolling his eyes.

"Got any other ideas einstein?" I asked him.

"Fine." He muttered.

"Good." I said,  happy I won.

I went to my room, and did my homework.
