Tour Guide

"So, Seren," the principal tells the red-head. "Can you start giving them a tour of the building now, before classes start changing and the hallways are filled?" She enthusiastically bobs her head.

"Come on boys," Seren says, practically skipping to the door. Like lost puppies, we follow her out.

Even though we're much taller than Seren, we're all struggling to keep up with her fast pace. As we round a corner, she suddenly stops. We all almost collide with her. Harry accidentally bumps into her, and she gives him a mutinous look, making me chuckle under my breath. She's cute. Seriously? I just met the girl 15 minutes ago, and I'm calling her cute. Wow. Seren makes large gestures with her arm as she lectures us about the school.

"This here is the library," she informs us. "You can go there for study halls, first thing in the morning, or whenever you have a free period. There's books, computers, and basically any other materials you might need for research or reference."

She resumes her quick pace, with us again struggling to keep up. We head down the hallway, with Seren pointing to rooms.

"Art room," is referring to a room with paint stained floors and students with colored hair, I see as I peek inside.

"Music room," has keyboards and guitars in assorted spots just inside the door.

The auditorium has closed doors, but I presume there's a stage and many seats in there.

We head around another corner and Seren gradually slows down this time.

"Coming up on our left is the cafeteria, where most social discrepancies occur. It is also the home of food that is just plain shitty." I'm kind of shocked at the cuss words that escape her mouth. She doesn't seem like the kind of girl that swears, to be honest. I'm not being sexist, it just doesn't seem like her.

I continue thinking about those gray eyes as she keeps showing us the school we're going to be at for the next 9 months.
