The Characters (so far)

Ard - young god, leader of the godly army, Wodran's youngest son

Hera - Goddess and Valkyrie, 2nd in command of the godly cavalry and one of Ard's most trusted friends 

Lugh - young god (slightly older than Ard), Ard's third in command and one of his best friends

Arl - Ard's brother, son of Wodran, middle child, leader of the winged legion of the godly army

Atlas - Ard's oldest brother, son of Wodran, used to be leader of the godly army but was given to Hella, the goddess of darkness and ruler of Niflheim, as sacrifice to end the war 

Wodran - King of the gods 

Hella - Goddess of death and darkness, originally from Helheim but now the ruler of Niflheim. Took Atlas as her involuntary companion.

Heimdall - Gatekeeper of Valhalla

Asereth - leader of the Elders

Elizabeth/Lizzy Hazelmere - human girl that Ard unknowingly kills

Diana Banks - Lizzy's best friend at University 

The Elders - they are the council of the gods, Wodran's advisors. He often asks them to help make decisions but ultimately can be overridden by Wodran's word.

The Norns:

The three faced goddess manifested. One being that appears as three different stages in the life of a female.

They are the direct connection to the highest power (the source). They weave the threads for new souls (their destiny) and often appear as prophets. The Norns execute the will of the highest power and work closely with Wodran and the Elders.

Wyrd - The Maiden Norn of the past, birth and new souls

Wyrdani - The Mother Norn of the Present, life and current happenings 

Skulla - The Crone Norn of the Future, of endings and death

Cierladrean - Atlas's beloved twin flame and now high priestess of the grail

Amar - Lizzy's friend and love interest 

Frigg - Goddess. Was once Ard's Amm. She raised him like her own son and is still very close to him.
