“Aubrey, I think this will be a good thing for you. You’ve turned them down so many times that this is your last chance,” my mom tried to reassure me. I sighed. I keep getting offered to do a modeling job.
“Is this good for me or for you, mom?” I asked her. She looked at me. I sighed. “I’m sorry. Just I really don’t want to.”
“Okay, then it’s MagCon. You have to go to MagCon with your brother,” she said. I sighed.
“Okay,” I said. She looked at me and smiled.
“Good, now go pack because you and Matt leave in two days. I think you’ll really like it,” she said. I nodded. She was in the middle of making dinner. I stood up straight and stretched. Matt came up from behind me,
“Are you excited for MagCon?” He asked.
“How’d you know that I said I was going?” I smiled at him.
“Because I know you,” he said to me. I shook my head and went to my room. I grabbed a suitcase from my closet and started to pack some colorful skinny jeans and some cute t-shirts. I then went to my dresser and picked out some pajama shorts and some oversized t-shirts that I stole from Matt. I folded them and set them neatly into the suitcase. I zipped it up and put it on the floor next to my bed. I sat down and instantly I was called to dinner. I laughed quietly to myself and went down to eat.
After dinner, I went back into my room. I grabbed my laptop off my desk and went on YouNow. I went live and over 3,000 were watching me. I smiled and waved.
“Hey Aubrey.” Matt walked into my room. The comments started to go wild saying all kinds of stuff about Matt like, ‘I love you, Matt’ Tell Matt I said hi’ ‘Tell Matt that I love him’ and all kinds of Twitter names. I shook my head and laughed.
“They really love you, Matt.” I sighed. He sat next to me where he was in the view of the camera.
“Hi guys,” he said and waved. The comments went even more wild. My phone started to ring and an unknown number popped up. I answered it,
“Hello?”
“Hey, it’s Nash. Nash Grier.” I laughed.
“Not to be rude or anything, but how’d you get my number?”
“Who do you think?” He asked.
“Matt?” I asked. He laughed.
“Yeah. So, I heard you were coming to MagCon this time,” he said.
“Yes, I am. Ha.” I laughed at myself. He laughed.
“Well, I got to go. Text me, if you want.”
“Yeah, sure. Talk to you later, Nash.” I hung up the phone and glared at Matt. It wasn’t a mad glare, it was a sarcasm glare.
“What?” He asked. I laughed.
“Who’d you give my number to?” I asked. I put Nash’s number into my contacts. He shrugged and smiled. My phone rung again and I looked at it. Another unknown number. I answered again.
“Hello?”
“Hey.” Carter’s voice said into the phone. I looked at Matt and he laughed. “It’s Carter,” he said. I laughed,
