Monster Girl Encyclopedia Story (Name WIP)

The Beginning

(A/N: First part of the Monster Girl Encyclopedia book. Any of you who know Monster Girl Encyclopedia, you know what to expect. For those of you who don't, I don't know how to link outside sources, so just look up "Monster Girl Encyclopedia wiki" and you'll get there. I think the external link thing worked but I have no idea. Please tell me if it did. Anyway, for those who know MGE, no tentacles... Yet. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)  Tell me what I can improve on if anything. I might've also forgotten to put some things in here but fuck it. I want this chapter and book out so here it is. I also proofread it like multiple times but wasn't sure if it was good to go so screw it. Enjoy part one.)

A man with (H/C) hair and (E/C) eyes was walking through the streets of (City/Name) so he could go to the nearest game store. This man is (Y/N) (L/N). He recently turned 20 and wanted to buy a new game with the money he received from working, seeing it as a personal birthday present for himself since it was only a couple days ago. He walked into the game store and started to browse the games in a box.

(Y/N): Let's see here. Cuphead. Beat that. Assassin's Creed. Beat that. The Elder Scrolls V. Ha. Beat that like 20 times. Come on. There's nothing new for me to play.

Just as he said that, he noticed one game that was hidden rather well underneath a bunch of other games. He moved the games covering it, grabbed it and read the title.

(Y/N): Monster Girl Encyclopedia huh? Never heard of this game before. Ooh! It's for PlayStation VR. Hell yeah. Let's check this game out.

(Y/N) walked up to the counter and paid for the game before walking towards his house but along the way it started to rain so he had to run the rest of the way. Once he got to his house, he walked onto the porch and shook his body like a dog would and once he was somewhat dry, he walked into his house and saw his nearly empty living room.

(Y/N): This place looks really empty. I really need a roommate or something. Though the design of the house is nice. *sighs* I'm so lonely that I talk to myself.

(Y/N) walked to his bedroom, changed clothes and got out his PSVR. Once he plugged it in, a loud crack erupted from outside his house, making him jump slightly and look out the window.

(Y/N): Jeez. It must be really close to be that loud.

(Y/N) continued to look out the window for a couple seconds before turning back to his PS4. He opened the case, took the game disc out, put the disc in, grabbed his headphones and put on his virtual reality headset.

(Y/N): Alright. Let's do this!

(Y/N) started the game and put his beginning stats in and pushed start game. Just as he did, a bolt of lightning came from the sky and hit (Y/N)'s house. Electricity surged through (Y/N)'s house and eventually reached his PS4 and PSVR, shocking him and making him fall to the ground, unconscious.

(Y/N): *groans* What happened?

I held my head and looked around, finding myself in a forest with trees with snow on top of them as far as the eye can see. I looked down and saw snow underneath me as well. Behind me was a cliff that I looked up at. It's not high enough to kill me but if I landed right, I could've been knocked out. I looked down at my clothes and noticed I was wearing a big coat that covered almost all of my body, a (Favorite/Color) beanie and snow boots before standing up and looking around.

(Y/N): This is where I start? In a stupid place covered in snow? Great. Where's the damn map at?

I searched my pockets until I eventually found a map. I grabbed the map and opened it, seeing an arrow. I guess that's me. There's a village next to me and a name appeared next to the village. The village is called... Bleakpoint?
