The Way it Started Out

Chapter 6

As i had just responded to the text i wasn't looking where I was going, I step into a little hole in the ground and twist my ankle, I fall to the ground. I feel the pain in my ankle grow. No one was around me, seeing I had just left te bathroom. I try I stand up, but it's too painful. I decide to sit against the wall for a while, I had no one to talk to anyway.

'Heyy' I text Hailey

'Sup' she replies

'@ grad, think I twisted my ankle 😞 fml'

'Hahaha. Do u want me to come pick u up? We Could grab lunch?'

'Defiantly' i reply

'There in 30'

'Perf'

I decide to go find Grady and tell him I need to leave, he looked a bit disappointed but he'll get over it. I limp my way to the door, but Ofcourse I run into youknowwho

You ok? He asks me, sounding sincerely concerned

Yeah I'm fine

You don't look fine.. Here let me help you, he grabs my arm and figs it around his neck, I don't fight back, seeing I knew the extra support. We walk but tumble, he stepped on my dress and we fall. We sit on the pavement laughing for a while, then he stands up and carries me bridal style.

'Justin!' I scream in shock I laugh as he looks at me with his gorgeous eyes.

'You know I never meant to hurt you... I did what I had to do, for me and y career, I had to be selfish...'

Suddenly things got serious...

'Yeha whatever, let me down'

'No I'll carry you your hurt!'

'No! Stop Justin! Let me down and I inside!'

With that he looks at me and gently sits me down on the bench as he opens his mouth, to say something, but closes it, he turns around and leaves. The. He turns around again, looks at me, then opens his mouth to speak

'You can keep on treating me like this, I know I deserve it, but you have to know, I will never stop having feelings for you. I have never felt this way towards a girl before, and i will do whatever that it takes to prove it to you' he doesn't give me time to reply, he just walks away, leaving me there. Speechless

Infuriating my thoughts I hear a honk. Hailey was here. I hop over to the car and get in.

'We need alcohol. Now.'

And with no more words, Hailey starts to drive to the liquor shop. But I knew, not even that would be enough to figure out what I should do, or what Justin meant... And suddenly, I lost all my will to go to dinner with Carter.

'Cant come to dinner 2nite. Twisted my ankle, staying home 2 go 2 bed e@rly. So sorry! Some other time??'

'Its fine babe, feel better! U sure u don't want me 2 come over and check on u?'

'No it's fine, dont worry about it. C u 2morrrow! Love u!'

'Ok See u 2morrow! Love you too'

Oh gosh.

'So what's going on' Hailey asks me

And I begin telling her everything...
