My eyes shutters open as the orange light of the sunrise shines at me. I groan at the alarm clock to see it's 5:21 AM, which is the exact time for the sunrise of the morning in Arizona. I grab the pillow and sleep some more until I hear the alarm clock buzz out loud when it's 7:36. I push the snooze button and finally maneuver myself off the bed. Then, I grab my clothes from one of the boxes that are in front of my closet- well all of the boxes are surrounding all over my bedroom as I grab a pair of panties and bra. Wait- Actually, my former bedroom. That's right; I'm moving. Where, you ask? To the city of lights in Las Vegas, Nevada because my Dad finds his job as the US-ramp agent for the Airport Terminal Services, so that means he's working part-time while my Mom just start her job as a health spa attendant at the Silver Legacy Resort Casino. I walk to the bathroom that is locating in the hallway with my clothes in a headlock with my elbow. After taking a shower for thirteen minutes along with brushing my teeth and washing my face, I go back to my room in a towel wrapping my entire body to change into my casual clothes and let my long brunette hair down to my back after straightening it last night. Also, I have cherry red highlights on the ends.

Oh! I must apologize to you all. My name is Cara Reagan Kennedy. I'm seventeen and a half years old and I am about to move to a different state three days before the start of my senior year.

"Children! Breakfast is ready!" My mom calls as the five of us walk out of our rooms and into the dining room where the buffet of breakfast are set up. I fix my paper plate by adding French toast casserole, a banana muffin, eggs, and buttermilk pancakes, cascading with maple syrup as I take a seat to see boxes in the dining room with plates, vases, silverware, food, and pictures shutting in securely with duct tape. "I can't believe this is the last time we're having breakfast in this house," My twelve year old sister, Misty sighs while she's eating a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch with no milk.

"I know, sweetheart, but we're still having breakfast buffets in our new house in Reno, NV before you go to school and before Danielle goes to work." Mom says. I'm eating a bowl of Reese's Puffs without milk when I receive a text message from Joelle and Ciera. It reads,

Ciera: Cara! Ready 2 go 2 the mall with Joelle, Tiffany, Michelle, and I?

I grab my phone, taking the whole spoonful of Reese's Puffs into my mouth as I put the spoon down and type,

Me: I'm having breakfast with my family now. How about @ 10:30 AM?

After I drink orange juice, I continue eating Reese's Puffs when my phone buzzes on the table. Everybody around the table turn their heads at me as I question, "What? It's a message." I scroll my phone to swipe the message from Ciera.

Ciera: Most definitely! Be sure to knock on Joelle's door because Tiffany, Michelle, and I r gonna wait for u to honk the horn. Can't w8t!

To let you know; I live next door to Joelle, who lives next to my house at the left as Ciera lives next door to me at the right side. Immediately, I reply,
