The Date

Tom's POV
I am not ready for this date! I am not ready for this date!

"Tori! Help!" I yell from in the office.

Eric's was downstairs shooting a React episode.

"What do you want now,Tom?" Tori asks annoyed.

"I can't do it! I'm so nervous about me and Eric's date. What if I screw it up and he doesn't like me anymore? What if he changed his mind? What if-"

"It's like you completely ignored the advice I give you yesterday." She shook her head.

"Which one?"

"The one where you don't ask 'what if' and see,it made an impact on you. You want to back out now. And you're losing your confidence. So stop thinking negative thoughts. That won't get you anywhere." She explained like she had told me this thousands of time.

I groan and close my eyes,keeping my breathing steady. I can do this. I can do this. You'll be fine. It'll be ok. I open my eyes and smile slightly.

"Better?" Tori asked.

"Much better. Thanks. But have you ever been nervous on a date?" I say.

"Not really. I just have fun and we both have a good time. But my relationships don't last very long. So I don't even bother on going on dates anymore." She replied.

"Oh. Well maybe that's cause you haven't found the right one yet."

"Maybe but I'm not really interested in dating right now. I have a job and I don't want to get stuck on some guy."

"Yeah,guys are the worst." I say, shaking my head.

"Then what does that make you?" She laughs.

"I'm a man. A manly man." I say flexing.

"Yeah sure." She says,sarcastically. "Where are you taking him,Mr.Manly?"

"Somewhere." I answer sitting in my chair,replying to comments.

"Tom,you're shooting today. Go downstairs." Alex says.

"Kay." I get up and walk to the door.

I leave the office and go downstairs. I get to the studio and say 'hi' to Katie.

"Hi Katie. How are you doin' today?" I ask politely.

"I'm good Tom. How about you? I heard around the office you're going on a date today." She asks,putting her blonde hair to the side.

"Uh yeah. I'm leaving around 5. That's ok,right?" I ask.

"Umm..." She looks through her clipboard and a few papers.

"Yeah it's ok. You don't have anymore shoots to do today. So you should be ok." She said writing something.

"Katie,are we ready to start." Jay asked.

"Uh yeah. Let's get started." She says as she puts the whiteboard with my name and other stuff on the table I'm sitting at.

"Let's do it." She says and she starts recording.

Time Skip
"Thanks Tom. I'll see you tomorrow." Katie says,waving bye.

"Bye Katie." I walk out of the room. While walking around I find Eric talking to Austin. He notices me and gestures to me. Austin nods and looks at his computer. Eric walks to me and smiles.

"Hey Tom. What're you doing here?" He asks,yawning.

"I just got done shooting an episode of Collage Kids. You?"
