Today is a special day. But this isn't just any day, no. This is Chuuya's first real Mother's Day since fleeing the Mafia. Since he has brought Arsené into this world, and Violetta five years after. Dazai wants to and is determined to make this day truly special. That is why Dazai is currently standing in a flower shop with five-year-old Arsené by his side and his six-month-old daughter in her stroller. Dazai's looking for a forty-eight-dozen bouquet of roses, all different colors, all unique in their own way. Dazai scans the flowers, and he looks at the vibrant and not so vibrant colors, the liveliness of the flower, how opened up the flower is or how closed off, waiting to see the world. Arsené notices his father having a hard time picking roses for his mother, so he makes a suggestion.

"Papa?" Arsené says looking up at him with curious blue eyes.

"Yes son?" Dazai says as he's looking at a rose.

"What about these?" Arsené suggests as he points at magenta roses. "They're bright like Mommy's hair. And these bright blue ones are like Mommy's eyes."

Dazai beamed. "And the red can symbolize love! High five buddy!"

Arsené giggled happily as him and his father high fived.

"Ma'am?"

"Ah, yes sir?"

"Can I get these three colored roses put together and delivered?"

"Of course!"

One thing was done. Dazai successfully got the perfect roses, now the next pressing issue.

Cake. A cake was always the most difficult thing to pick only because Chuuya could be quite picky. But he wanted to get something with strawberries knowing his red head has always enjoyed strawberries. Dazai was thinking of maybe a beautiful one tier or two-tier cake, with vanilla whip icing, and strawberries all on the top with strawberry filling. Dazai saw one he thought was perfect but he wasn't truly sure. He knew if anyone would be able to make a good pick for the cake. It'd definitely be his kids. Especially his daughter.

Dazai politely asked for a sample of the strawberry cake for all three of them. The woman handed Dazai the samples, and Dazai gave one to Arsené. Dazai fed Violetta the cake piece. Which fell out of her mouth on to her pretty pink dress, she really just tasted the icing but she clapped her hands and seemed impressed nonetheless. Dazai ate his and he hummed in appreciation at how well it tasted, Arsené jumped for joy as he asked the baker for another sample. She giggled as she handed it to Arsené.

"D-Da-mph-y-ou- shou-ld g-et- mf- this on-ne." Arsené said chewing on the piece of cake.

"Chew with your mouth closed Arsené. Mommy would definitely scold you for talking with your mouth full of cake."

"I'll definitely take that one ma'am."

"Alright. Let me grab the cake for you." She said smiling.

Everything so far was perfect. Now all Dazai needed to do was get through shopping for dinner safely, and actually prepare the meal without burning down the whole house in the process. Dazai was pushing the buggy around with Violetta sitting in the basket seat strapped in, and Arsené in the back of the basket sitting down. Arsené took the food items from his father that he had picked for the shrimp alfredo, and he put it neatly in the buggy while also keeping his happily screaming little sister company. Dazai surprisingly got through the shopping trip without any problems. Dazai went into the check outline, he paid for the dinner items, and loaded the cart back up with the now paid for and bagged groceries heading to the car.
