We head down a long hallway and then take a slight left. He jiggles the doorknob and it finally opens up to a room with wood floors and wood walls.
"This used to be an old art room, they don't use it anymore." He tells me.
"Wow, it's beautiful." I tell him as I look around in awe.
"Yeah." He says.
I pull out my phone to take a picture.
"Hey." He says.
"Yes?" I say confused.
"What's you number?" He pauses then says, "so I can add you to all the class group chats." He finishes.
I give him my phone so he can make a contact. For his name he types. 'Romeo💛'
Woah a heart emoji???
I look at him and laugh.
"I through around hearts all the time but I have never said I love you to anyone expect for my family." He tells me.
"Good to know." I say.
He gives me his phone and I type my number and make my contact name 'Juliet'
"Well that's boring." He says to me.
"What?" I say.
"Your contact name is boring." He tells me.
"Fine, I'll do what you did." I say. I type 'Juliet💛'
"I love it Jules." He says as I give him back his phone.
"What?" I say confused.
"Does no one else call you Jules as a nickname?" He asks me.
"Nope." I tell him.
"Oh well sor-" He begins to say.
"I like it Romeo." I tell him.
He smiles.
He looks at his gold watch and tells me, "We have class soon, we should head over now."
"Okay. What class is next?" I ask.
"French." He says.
I don't know one word of French except baguette.
We walk into a room full of people. There are 4 tables with 4 seats. Romeo guides me to a table where Callum and James are sitting. I sit next to Callum and Romeo is across from me. A young women walks in. Callum leans and whispers in my ear "That's not our teacher, we have a substitute today." I nod.
"You're teacher wants you to do page 305-308 on your textbooks online." She says to everyone.
I see everyone pull out their computers so I do the same. I look at the messages from my group chat with my friends from Wisconsin.
