(Rachelle's POV)

I ran to upstairs to my room, tears on my eyes. I sat on my bed and pulled my knees to my chest. Why..why did he rejected me? Meliodas..rejected me..I knew it, he loves Elizabeth...but I'm not blaming Elizabeth, she's my child hood friend. I cried and cried...I didn't tell Diane about this, because I don't want her to kick Cap'n's ass. I was deep in thought till I heard a knock on my door.

(King's POV)

I was looking for Rachelle because I was about to give my birthday present to her. I asked Ban if he saw her any where, he said she ran to her room..I just said OK and went upstairs. Once I arrived at her door, I knocked on the door, "Hey, Rachy you there?" I said, I swear I heard sobs in her room. Is Rachelle..crying?

(Rachelle's POV)

"Hey, Rachy you there?" I heard King said. I quickly wipe my tears and said "Coming..." as I went to open the door to see King. "Oh, hey King." I said, trying not to speak in a cracky, sad voice.

"Hi, I have something for you." he said in a happy, he then pulled out something behind him. "Happy Birthday Rachy!" he said, holding a orange pillow with tiger patterns on it. I smiled and grabbed the pillow. "Thank you, King..I loved it!" I said, a bit of my sadness faded away...

King smiles back as I hugged the pillow he gave me. Then..my happiness fades away quickly, geez being the Tiger Sin of Depression is hard because when you are depressed and then you got happy from small things then the depression comes back. Which made King notice.

"Hey, what's with the sad face..didn't you like the pillow that I gave you?" he asked, his happy tone turn to a sad tone. "Of course I like it..." I replied.

"It's just..." I said, I went to my bed and sat down. I heard King sigh, "Don't tell me you're depressed again..." he said approaching me. "It's just...I.." I said, starting to cry.

"Hey hey, why are you crying? It's your birthday, you should be happy." he said in a worried tone.

"It's just..*sob* h-he..." I said, I couldn't say it because it hurts so much. "He, what?" he said. "H-he..r-rejected...me..." I replied. "Who the hell is he?" he asked.

"M-Meliodas..." I replied, as I started to cry more. King sat on my bed..hugging me. Comforting with some words that some other people used to say about the person you love rejected you. He said "He rejected you because maybe he likes someone else..or maybe he's not the person for you. There are many guys out there who will love you. I know it hurts but...I felt the same pain as you did." I was surprised of what he said in the end. Is he also heartbroken?

"W-what do you mean by that? What do you mean about 'You felt the same pain as I did'?" I asked, calming down. He frowned, I just gave him a confused look.

"Diane..dumped me." he said, "What?!" I said, why did Diane dumped him..he loved her so much and she just dumped him. "H-how could she!" I said, angry at Diane..what the hell is she thinking?

"Hey, it's fine. I'm okay now." he said. "I'm sorry..." I said. "You don't need to be sorry, it's not your fault." he said as he hugged me again.

I feel like it's my fault that Diane dumped King. Maybe she saw us talking almost like everyday,  maybe she got jealous..she just never tell me.

"By the way, I got gift for you that you will never forget." he said, "What is it?" I asked. Then I felt something soft on my lips, then I realized...King is kissing me! Wha-What the hell is he kissing me, it made me blush like crazy. H-he likes me?

He pulled away, and frowned "I knew it, you wouldn't feel the same." he said as he stood up and began walking away. I quickly grabbed his wrist and pulled him to another kiss. I wrapped my arms around his neck, it took like a few seconds for him to wrap his arms around my waist.

I wish that the kiss would last long but we need freaking oxygen so we pulled away. I smiled as he smiled back. "Happy Birthday, Rachelle...I love you." he said making me blush. I hugged him, and said "I love you too, King."

"You can call me Harlequin." he said as he hugged back. "Nah, I prefer King." I said and kissed his cheek. After that hug, we said good nights to each other since it's getting late. I lay on my bed, and smiled, touching my lips and remembering the kiss. Then I went to sleep while hugging the pillow that 'My King' gave me.

(King's POV)

I liked Rachelle since she became my friend, since Diane dumped me..I'll just love my best friend since she really understands me. The reason why I love her is because she's a really good person. She's really there for you when you're down. She helped me practice my confession to Diane. Now, I want to give everything she did to me back to her as a thank you for being that best friend and the best girl that I ever met.

I went to my room and lay on my bed. I smiled and went to sleep, dreaming about my best friend that I fell in love with.
