Right after I got the acceptance letter I started to pack. The sooner I can get to College the better.

"Bye Mom. I'll visit, and Dad can update you too." I was saying goodbye to my mom. Currently, I was in what seems to be an inescapable hug.

"Bye Alex. I love you, don't get into too many fights."
"I'll try."
"Good."
With that I left to my car and hen started the not so short drive to Kings. The drive was full of singing my heart out and being on the phone with my friends. --

"LET'S GO KINGS COLLEGE BABY!"
"Shut up Herc!" Alex knew that french fry anywhere.
"Are you hungover Laf?" I ask knowing I would probably get a yes.
"Maybe..."
"HERC DONT TOUCH MY TURTLE!"
"BUT I WANNA BET SHELLY!"
"NO!"
"SHUT UP YOU TWO!"
"Guys Do I need to come over there?"
"No. " They all said in unison.
"Good. John let Herc touch your turtle, it won't kill ya. Nobody  yell cause Laf is hungover, and Laf, stop drinking cause I know you got a bottle of beer in your hand now."

I hear Laf curse in French.

"I got to go guys. I'll see you at orientation."
"BYE HAMIL-HAM!"
"Shut up Herc."
"Bye Alex, Shelly says high!"
"Bye Guys."

I got to Kings within 2 hours (Maybe not right but live with it.) Once I got there all thee freshmen were herded to an area where they have hundreds of chairs set out and a stage in front. One of those stages that take 30 minutes to set up. Kids start filing in and I see my friends and wave them over.

"HERC! LAF! JACKIE! OVER HERE!"
"HEY ALEX!"
They start running over to me and then they start to shove kids out of their seats. I'm laughing hysterically, while we just earned glares from everyone else. We take our stolen seats and get ready for the lecture of expectations and rules. We have been sitting here for about 5 minutes when The Dean of students walks up onto the stage.

"Welcome students. Here we expect the best of you, we want you to be the best you can be. We do not have strict rules. The curfew is 12 am, no you will be rooming with opposing genders, and these are all for the greater good. There will be no skipping classes unless you are sick. We want you to succeed and have a successful life after college. Breakfast will be provided but no other meals. --" It was then when an all too familiar poofy haired man walked in and sat down a few rows in front of me.

I started to reach and try and grab Johns' arm. He turned and looked at me.

"Alex buddy, whats up? Whats wrong? Are you having a panic attack?" I frantically nod my head.
"Alright, we're going let's go."
"John, where are you and Alex going?"
"Nowhere, nothing lets go, Alex."

I cling and grab onto John for dear life. He took me to a bench by a pond. The cool breeze seemed to calm me down.

"Alex, why did you have a panic attack?"
"I-I...I saw Jefferson..."
John hugs me tightly.
"Oh Alex, I'm so sorry. It'll be okay. Are you okay to go back?"
I slowly nod. I think I'm okay. I stand up and start to walk away. Right, when  John stands up to walk with me he grabs my hand. I blush and turn to face him.

"John?"
"Alex, I'm here for you, okay?"
"I know John."
"Alex..."
"John?"
"I... nevermind."
"John somethings up. Whats wrong?"
"I um...Alex, I think well I know, well I think but um-"
"John-"
"Alex I'm in love with you."

Did... did he just. Am I--

"I love you, Jackie."
"Y-y-you do?"
"Yes, Jackie I do."
He smiles widely and brings me in for a warm hug.

"Should we be heading back?"

He nods and we walk back hand in hand.
We get back just in time to hear the end of his speech.

"Now go to the reception desk to get your dorm numbers.Goodbye."
