My friends and I had a little get together at Lee house. We played games, ate, danced, and just had a great time enjoying each other's company.

"Ding-Dong" someone is at the door.

Mye big head self ran to the door like a track star. As I was at the table eating Mye comes in with this fine ass piece of dark chocolate with dreads. My head was all over the place trying to figure out who he was and why he was here.

"Yall this my brother Shawn" Mye says.

"Damn bitch why you didn't tell me about him a long time ago" I whisper to Mye.

The whole time she was introducing him to us I caught him starring at me a couple of times.

Like he had something on his chest he wanted to get out.

I politely said "Is there anything that catches your eye or attention while you starring?"

He replied "yea a friend of a friends"

I was a bit taken back because I heard that somewhere before.

I then remember the unknown number that texted me yesterday saying that.

I instantly knew who it was then. But how did he get my number I thought to myself. It probably was Mye.

"So your the unknown person that texted me yesterday?" I asked.

"Yeah that was me what's up beautiful" he said

"Nothing much umm did Mye give you my number?" I asked

"Maybe is that a problem" he asked

"It may be one if I have any problems with you" I told him

"My name is Shawn Wright and yours" he asked

"Carmen Madison" I say shyly

"Well Carmen wanna go for a walk to get to know each other better?" Shawn asked.

"Yeah that's fine" I say

"Ok" he said

"See yall later me and Shawn going for a little walk" I tell my friends

"Okay"they say

"Don't do nothing I wouldn't do" said Sa'Hara.

"I won't make you any promises best friend" I tell her
