His hands slid up her sides, trailed up her shoulder, and captured her face just as she'd done to him. His own voice was hoarse, and his stomach burned with hunger. "Kiss me."
Reba felt that warmth spread through her entire being at this magic words. She felt desire in these two words. Her mind went blank, lost in his blue eyes and the small smile on his lips, she lingered a little. It was a look that was as innocent as it was seductive.
He felt his thoughts swimming and had to pry his mind from the cool lake of her eyes just to hear her next words.
"I-I l-love you" she could hardly say.
Brock smiled at her declaration of pure love for him. "Reba" he whispered slowly, prolonging each letter as he was savoring them.
His lips brushed hers. Not innocently, like a tease but hot, fiery, passionate kiss. The next one was hard, demanding. She held back a moan as his kiss devoured her in the dark, feeding on her lips, and taking everything she had to give. His tongue was inviting her to open to him. She was hesitant at first but his touch was like fire to her skin and she burned between his fingers. The air was thick around them, and she struggled to breathe, pulling in one aching breath after another as the kiss deepened and their equal aggression rose. Her blood seemed to pulse through her every vein, rocking loudly against her flesh and waking part of her that had been asleep until his touch. He used his lips, tongue, and fingers on both seen and unseen parts of her, a kiss that conquered where it went.
His hold on the back of her hair kept her mouth exposed to him while the other hand was wrapped around her waist. He kept her anchored and pressed hard against his body. She couldn't pull away. She heard rain tickling at the window. It was pouring all night but she didn't care. She was blindly following his movements and drank his love from his warm lips.
At that time she was willing to give him everything she had. She'd locked her hands in his hair, communicating that she wanted him just as close as he wanted her. This was her moment. She was lost in his arms and this kiss was everything she dreamed it would be after their divorce.
This was her home.
