Chapter 4

I woke up the next day to my parents and gabe sitting at the end of my bed. Looking at me with so much concern. "How are you feeling sweetie? We were so worried about you." Dad said looking at me. I looked at them while I got up to stretch. "Honestly I have never felt better." I said with a shit eating grin. Which is true because I feel like I'm on cloud nine. "Well the lets go downstairs to eat." Mom said with a slight smile. I could smell the food way before I even left my room heading down stairs. Bacon, eggs, waffles, coffee and fruit. My absolute favourite! I walk in and sat down at the table next to gabe and as I was scarfing down my food I thought about what had all happened last night.
FLASHBACK
I could feel my bones breaking and re aligning. I was in so much pain that I was coming in and out of consciousness. I had tears in my eyes and gabe tad taken several steps back so he wouldn't get hurt. Finally after the last crack I shook my head to see that gabe was so much lower then I. I then realized I was in my Lycan form only because I heard gabe gabe tell me I was not to mention I was on two legs. Instantly I felt more bones breaking and screamed. Next thing i know I am on all fours with big white paws and black fur. Gabe instantly shifted into his big brown wolf. Even though he was still smaller then mine. He mined linked me and told me that we were going to go for a run so I nodded and we took off. So that's what we did we ran and ran until we could no longer run. When we got home I laid down on my bed and passed out cold.
END OF FLASHBACK
I was sitting there thinking when I heard a females voice. I looked around and there was nothing. I must be hearing things.. then I heard it again in my head and it was louder. Hello Amelia. What who is that?! I am apart of you I always have been. You can call me Raine. I'm your Lycan. So your just in my head? No one else can hear you? How is that even possible? Well it's a long story I have always been with you I just was never able to communicate with you because of the spell that was protecting you and because you couldn't shift. Well that's pretty awesome it's nice to meet you Raine. I think we're gonna get along just fine.
Gabe looked at me and asked if I needed help packing. It was Sunday so I knew tomorrow we would have to leave which I was dreading. It's okay Amelia we will be just fine. Yeah I sure hope so Raine.. I'm so nervous. I cut off our link that gabe helped me practice with. It just so far has all came naturally to me.  We walked into my room and started packing some things. "Thanks gabe for being there for me yesterday through that shift. It means a lot to me" I looked up and smiled at him. "Of course babes, but let me tell you I wouldn't want to piss off your Lycan she's so scary looking." He chuckled. "Her name is Raine and why do you say that?" I couldn't help but shoot daggers at him. "Well you didn't have to see what she looks like. She is black and stands about six feet five inches tall with bright red eyes. The power that radiates off of her I have never felt before it made me want to submit instantly. It's like I had no control over my own body." He sighed and shook his head. That's right now down to me bitches I'm the queen of them all! Okay Raine that is a bit much don't ya think? I mean your not cocky at all I giggled earning a growl from her. After awhile gabe told me he had some stuff he had to take care of before we left. I laid back on my bed after he left and I shot up suddenly remembering the letter my biological parents had left me. I quickly got out of bed and grabbed the letter. I sat on my bed with shaky hands and opened it

If you are reading this it means that you are finally 18 and know the truth. We did everything we possibly could to protect you. We wanted nothing more then to be there to see you grow up into the beautiful woman we know you are. You are destined to do great things. Your stronger then anyone else that's known in this world. You have power that people could only dream of having. And that's why your life is always going to be in danger. I'm so sorry baby girl. We have set you up so that your always financially okay. We have made arrangements for you to attend a school that will help you like they helped your father and I when we were your age. You will be feared by all. This school will teach you all you need to know and help you form a stronger connection with your Lycan. I want you to know your dad and I love you very much and we are so proud of you our sweet Amelia. I wish things were different but fate can be cruel sometimes.

I couldn't help the tears that ran down my face. It's okay Amelia you have me and they loved us very much. Thanks Raine and I know I have you, My parents and gabe that's all I need. Just wait Amelia... what do you mean by that? You will see soon enough. She went back into the corner of my head and paced back and forth. I didn't know what she meant and the sudden urge to nap consumed me.
