Left for Dead Chapter 15
GALLAGHER’S POV
I walked over to Terrance’s desk.
“So, how has your day been? Because I have a small gut feeling it’ll go all downhill from here.” I hissed.
His muffled shouts were quietly echoing off the concrete walls.
“No one can hear your screams, you little uptight prick. You’ve caused all of us to suffer from your words, and what we hear on a daily basis because of your rumors. It feels like you stab many people in the stomach, and stab the knife deeper with every hateful word. Now you have one chance to repent, and save yourself.” I explained, knowing he would have to chance of living at all.
“So you don’t have to hear your own shrieks, what you have to do is simple. You have to use these scissors I have in my hands, and cut off your ears. It’s one quick movement of your fingers, and then they’re off. I will sew up the holes left behind when both ears are off. Then you have to swallow them. After you swallow them, you will have to cut open your stomach and retrieve your ears, using the same scissors.” I continued, with no remorse.
“When you retrieve them, there will be a code, and that code will ensure your victory over death.” I finished.
He was trying to say something through the tape, and then I remembered.
“If you try to escape before you finish your task, I will kill you. You have two minutes left starting now.” I said, before walking behind Mr. Beaumont’s desk.
I waited about thirty seconds, and wondered why he wasn’t moving. I then realized I forgot to untie him or take the tape out of his mouth.
I quickly grabbed two small pens and walked over to him. I pulled the tape from his mouth, and jammed the pens in his jaw, propping his pallets up. I then untied his hands, and then walked back.
I sat back and let this all play out in front of me.
