Dark threw Cody to the ground, growling loudly,
"I know what you are! Don't think that'll make me go easy on you!"
Cody got to his feet, glaring at Dark.
"And I know what you are! And don't let THAT think I'll let you keep her!" And with that, you gasped. Black wings bursted from Cody, the tips of the bottom layer of feathers different shades of green. His eyes were a deep emerald green rather than his usual bright.
"C-Cody..?" You whispered, staring at him. When he turned to look at you, Dark grabbed him and punched him in the jaw. Cody growled as blood trickled down from his lip. Cody grabbed Dark's arm, and surprisingly, slammed him onto the ground with a massive thud. Dark's eyes flared and turned back to black as he grabbed Cody's leg, digging his nails into his skin and drawing blood. Cody kicked him on the top of his head and back off as Dark stood.
"You little prick!" Dark grabbed him again and threw him. Cody flew right through the door. Dark was breathing heavily as Cody just laid on the ground. You rushed out and crouched down beside him.
"Cody, are you alright?!" You grabbed his shoulders and stared at him. He sat up, blood covering his face and leg, and dirt smeared over his clothes.
"Cody, you have to stop!" You said it more angrily than concerned. He glared at you.
"Why? And let him have you? No. I don't think so."
You yanked him and snarled in his face,
"Haven't you seen you hurt yourself enough?! And you're hurting me by watching this! Why can't you two just grow the fuck up and stop fighting like children?!"
Cody stared at you with shocked eyes as your body shook. He got to his feet. Your wings bursted out, but they were different. Instead of the normal red wings, they were blue feathers with black tips. Cody gasped slightly, his wings fluttering as Dark emerged from the house and seemed equally shocked. You looked at both of them.
"Stop fighting. Before I fight one of you."
"Pft. You? Fighting one of us? Sorry kitten, but you couldn't even beat greenie over here." Dark chuckled and motioned towards Cody.
"Call me greenie one more time,you fucking--"
"Just fucking stop, idiots! " You yelled. You grabbed Dark's hand and pulled him towards Cody.
"Make up now, before I make you!"
Dark sighed and pulled his hand away.
"Well?"
"Fine. I'm 'sorry' that I provoked you."
Cody narrowed his eyes and murmured,
"Ugh. I'm sorry that I attacked you like that, and overreacted. And said those things in my head about Y/n.."
"You better be. That was disgusting."
I looked at them.
Dark smiled and said,
"He was thinking about stic--" He was cut off as Cody slapped his hand over his mouth. You blushed, and your wings retreated, but your e/c stayed a bright blue. Were they okay with eachother now?
"But just remember, she's mine." Dark glared.
Cody just rolled his eyes.
"Actually, I belong to nobody. I'm not a toy you kindergarteners fight over."
They both just chuckled.
"Mm. Ima go." Cody said. As he walked by you, he whispered,
"Meet me at the overhang, Blossom Creek."
You nodded.
Cody's wings retreated aswell as he got into his car and drove off. You sighed and turned back to Dark. He just stared at your eyes.
"Kitten, why haven't your eyes changed back yet?"
"What?" You said.
"They're still blue.."
"Oh... Maybe they're just late to leave? I'm sure it'll be fine. Anyways, I'm going to take a shower."
"I'll try not to join you." Dark joked and winked at you. You just rolled your eyes and headed upstairs.

After your shower, you brushed your hair and searched through your closet. You pulled out a pair of ripped, faded jean shorts and a blue crop top. You sighed as you pulled your hair back behind your back and looked in the mirror. Your eyes were still blue. But they were a pretty blue, so icy they were almost Grey, but somehow still seemed a bit ocean blue. It was weird. You picked up your phone as it buzzed.

You giggled and turned your phone off, having it in hand as you headed out the door, slipping past a.... Cooking Dark? Weird. You pulled your sneakers on outside. Hurrying silently in the fading sun to the rocky outcrop above the water. You crept around the railroad tracks, wanting to scare Cody. You pressed record on your phone, because only you knew really how girly his scream was. You hid a laugh as you got ready to jump out, but you heard singing.

You listened to the lyrics and remembered them clearly. His voice was so good though.. You went to take a step back and stop recording, when your right foot skidded on the pebbles. Cody's head shot up and he looked at you.
You whispered a muffled 'shit.' and stopped recording. He just smiled and patted the spot next to him. You sat down next to him,your legs dangling over the edge. You cringed as the rough stone was cold.
"Spying on me, huh?" Cody laughed as you pulled out your phone. You quickly made his singing your new ringtone and turned your phone off.
"Hey! I wasn't spying! I was just... Observing." You smiled and protested.
"Lemme see your phone then!" Cody chuckled and grabbed your phone. Worst timing ever. Your phone starting ringing as the contact,
"🔪🚬💚 My Fucking Bitcchh! 💚🚬🔪"
You blushed as Cody looked at you and answered. You heard Kyarah's excited screeching from the other end of the line. You laughed as Cody flinched away. That's my girl! You heard,
"CODY I SWEAR GIVE Y\N HER PHONE BACK BEFORE I POST THAT PICTURE OF YOU KISSING HER PICTURE!"
Cody turned red and hung up.
"Oh really?" You smiled.
"I-I did it once!"
"Why don't you kiss the real thing?"
Cody's eyes widened.
"Really?"
You curled your hand on a few rocks until you felt a worm.
"Yeah. Hit me with your best shot,green bean."
Cody leaned forward. Right before he touched you,you pulled the worm up. You busted out laughing as he continued kissing it for a minuet before opening his eyes and smacking my hand.
"You murderer!" You screeched as the worm flew into the water. Cody chuckled.
"That worm was my true my love!" You gasped.
Cody just looked at you, smiling.
"What happened to that girl in pastel sweaters that hated bugs and would run from a worm?"
You smirked,
"And what happened to that awkward stuttering C-Cody?"
He punched you playfully in the arm.
You grabbed his hand.
"Too slow."
He frowned.
"What? Sad you were slower than a girl?"
"No! I didn't even try!"
"Uh-huh." You giggled.
"I didn't. A snail is faster than you."
You thought for a second.
"And I bet Sam is faster than you?"
"Shuddap!" Cody yelled, turning red.
"I'll just have to ask Ocean myself."
Cody's eyes turned dark. He spoke softly,
"Didn't you hear?"
"Hear what? Oh god, She-s not back with Jason, is she?"
"No.. Y/n.. She killed herself last month.."
You froze. Your smile faded.
"S-she did..?" You whimpered,your voice shook.
He just looked away and nodded. You covered your face as you started crying. You felt a pair of large arms wrap around you and pull you in a hug. You tried to fight back tears. You never liked to cry infront of anyone, espically Cody.
Then you heard a giggle.
