Chapter VI: Pack Mentality (pt. 2)

Lily's POV.

We went to Stiles house and at night we went to the school. Stiles wanted to jump the fence and go with Scott to the parking lot, but Scott wanted to go alone.

"Hey, no, just me. Someone needs to keep watch" Scott said.

"How come I'm always the guy keeping watch?" Stiles asked.

"Because there's only two of us" Scott said.

"I'm here too, you know" I said.

"Okay, why's it starting to feel like you're Batman and I'm Robin?" Stiles said ignoring my comment.

"I don't want to be Robin all the time" he added.

"Nobody's Batman and Robin any of the time" My brother said.

"Not even some of the time?" Stiles asked.

"Just stay here, and look out for Lily" My brother said, then he climbed the fence and went towards the bus.

"Oh, my God! Fine" Stiles said defeated.

"Hey it's not that bad staying here" I said.

Then after a moment I heard Scott scream, after that it got all silent again. I was talking with Stiles until we saw someone with a flashlight, Stiles started honking the car, until we saw Scott running towards us and jumping the fence again.

"Come on, come on, come on" Stiles said, Scott got in the car.

"Go! Go! Go! Go!" I yelled. Then Stiles started driving, I was constantly turning around seeing if anyone was following us.

"Did it work?" I asked Scott.

"Did you remember?" Stiles asked him.

"Yeah, I was there last night. And the blood, a lot of it was mine" Scott said.

"So you did attack him?" Stiles asked.

"No. I saw glowing eyes in the bus, but they weren't mine" Scott said. I turned my attention to him.

"It was Derek" he added. I opened my eyes in shock.

"What about the driver?" Stiles asked.

"I think I was actually trying to protect him" Scott said.

"Wait, why would Derek help you remember that he attacked the driver?" I asked.

"That's what I don't get" Scott said.
Well shit, maybe we can mistaken right?.

"It's got to be a pack thing" Stiles said.

"What do you mean?" Scott asked him confused.

"Like an initiation. You do the kill together" I said catching up with Stiles.

"Because ripping someone's throat out is a real bonding experience?" Scott said sarcastically.

"Yeah, but you didn't do it" Stiles said.

"Which means you're not a killer" I piped in.

"And it also means that-" Stiles said but Scott interrupted him with a smile.

"I can go out with Allison" Scott said smiling.

"I was gonna say it means you won't kill us" Stiles finished.

"Oh, yeah. That too" Scott said.

I told Stiles to drop me at Allison's​ house, her mom opened the door.

"Hi Mrs. Argent" I greeted.

"Hello Lillian, Allison is upstairs" she said with smile.

"Thanks" I said and went upstairs to Allison's room to find Allison and Lydia there.
