Chapter 4: The Mother

So scared of what her mother would say, we quickly got up and went back to the desk. Her mom came into the closet and told Taylor that the closet had to stay open as well.

"I'm sorry mom." Taylor explains. "I forgot to tell that to a Michael. I didn't realize he closed it."

"It's okay sweetie. Just leave this open and keep working. You learning anything Michael?" She asked me.

I answer "Yes ma'am. She's really smart. She seems to know a lot." I wink to her. "I'm sure there are more things I could learn from her"

As Taylor's mom agrees, she leaves the room while leaving the doors open. I didn't know how to talk to Taylor about what just happened. I look at Taylor and she looks at me.

"So.." I awkwardly start.

"That was great." She said. "You're a really good kisser. I didn't expect that from you."

"Well I am in band so I'm used to it. I play Trumpet and Mellophone." I exclaim. Feeling so embarrassed that she'd hate me for being in band.

"That's awesome." She exclaimed. "I used to play Trumpet too. No wonder why you're such a good kisser."

"Thank you a lot Tay. But I should get going. It's getting late." I tell her.

"Okay. I'll walk you out." She said

After we pack up our bags, she leads me to the kitchen to grab a bag of homemade cookies for the way home. She leads me to her front door and walks outside with me. Knowing her mom was asleep, she leaned in and kissed me saying to have a good night. I had a feeling she liked me. But then again, I liked her too. I just never thought that I would ever have a girl actually like me. I was always an embarrassment at school and thought no girl would ever like me. I guess when someone new moves into town, they may think you're cute and they wouldn't know you; therefore, you could think of it has an opportunity to start a different life. Change yourself for this girl.
