Y/N POV continued: As I was waiting for Valerie's response, I started to get a little sleepy. "I don't really want to talk about it," she said sounding nervous. "Oh come on, I am your best friend why can't you tell me?" "I...I....I have to go," she said rushing out of my room. "Wait!" I exclaimed rushing towards her. I don't know why she is making a big deal out of this. She acts like it will do something to hurt someone. As I was at the last step, she was out the door waiting for her mom to pick her up. She lived like ten minutes away and her mom was here in a split second. Val probably texted her mom in advance. She jumped in the car and they drove off. I decided to text Jason. Y/N: Hey Jason Jason: Hey! What's up Y/N: Oh nothing I was with Val Jason: Did u ask her? Y/N: Yea and she said she didn't feel well Jason: She told me that too! Y/N: We should talk about this in person Jason: I agree Jason: How about tomorrow at lunch or after school Y/N: After school Jason: Ok see you then As I put down my phone, I checked the time. It was 7:15 pm. "I can't believe this day has gone by so fast," I thought to myself. I was really tired so I decided to go to sleep. I was shutting my eyes and all of the sudden I heard the front door open. I went downstairs and saw it was my mom. I told her I was going to sleep and she said I needed rest anyways. I went back to my bed and looked at my phone. I had 3 missed calls from Valerie. My phone was on vibrate so I didn't here my phone's ringtone. "I'll just talk to her tomorrow," I thought to myself. Next day It was finally Friday. I had dance class tomorrow and I was ready. I went to go change.

After that, I went downstairs and ate breakfast. There was a note by my mom, like always. I ate breakfast, ran upstairs to brush my teeth, and then I left the house. (Time skip to the drive to school) I arrived at school and saw Jason, Mike, and James. I also saw Valerie. I decided to talk to Jason and his buddies later so I walked up to Val. James and Mike laughed. "What is so funny," I said looking very confused. "Oh nothing," Mike said with a smirk. "You guys are weird," I said while giggling. I walked over to Valerie. "Hey, I saw the 3 missed calls you left me," I said. "Yea, I just wanted to apologize for my reaction yesterday." "Oh it's no problem," I said. "We should probably be headed to class. Valerie nodded her head and we walked off to class. I turned my head to Jason as he was calling me. He was reminding me about our meet up after school. I nodded my head in response and I caught up with Val as she walking without me. Jason's POV: I nudged Mike and James. "You guys are making it obvious," I said. "Wouldn't you want her to know?" James asked. "Yea dude, what if she likes you and you never find out," Mike said nudging me. "You could be right but I don't want to risk it," I said. "You'll be fine if she ever found out," James said laughing. "This is why I don't tell you things," I said walking off to class. They started to laugh and they caught up to me.
