"Wait. You change your mind?" Edwin smiled.
He turns around seeing you grab a bag and fill it with the necessities. Clothes, makeup, chargers, hygiene products, all that shit. Moments later, Edwin sees you throw you bag on the side of the windowsill and you slide down. Edwin grabs your body and helps you down.
"Are you sure about this?" Edwin questions getting to your level.
You nod your head with the biggest smile. You grab his hand and run to the car, "Come on! What are you waiting for?"
You quickly jump into the passenger seat and text your brother, Carsyn.

You hesitate to click send. Your thumb hovering over the delete button and the send button.
"Hey you don't have to do this y/n.." Edwin said concerned seeing the look on your face.
"I know..but I'd be heartbroken if I never seen you again." You smiled and put your head down. You took a deep breath and clicked send.
Edwin smiled and put the car in reverse and pulled out the driveway. Quickly, I turn on the radio and In My Blood by Shawn Mendes comes on.
"FUCK YES!" I screamed turning up the radio.
For the whole song I was screaming the lyrics with the windows down and my spirit up high. Edwin looked at me laughing. He started tapping his fingers to the beat.
"There you go! Getting into the beat!" I laughed slapping his leg.
He looked at me with his bright gorgeous smile. I started laughing even harder trying to not think of how in love I was. His hair was silky perfect. His eyes shined like the stars. His lips were a perfect pink. And the way he smiled made my heart melt. His hands were the perfect size to do our handshakes. He had the beat personality. He just had it all. He realized how long I was staring. And I quickly turned pink and looked away.
"You ok y/n?" He asked looking at the road.
"Yeah..just tired." I yawned.
"Get some sleep. I'll wake you up when we get to a hotel or a gas station." He smiled.
I lowered the seat and I covered my body with his big jean jacket. Immediately my eyes sealed shut.

You sit up from your deep sleep and see Edwin filling up the car with gas. He smiles and leans his head into the car.
"Hey sleepy head!" He smiled.
"Hey..." You groaned stretching your arms.
He laughed and handed you a bag, "This is for you shorty."
"Awe you shouldn't have." You smile grabbing the bag. It had a water, 2 bags of chips, a beef jerky, and some gum.
"Thought you'd want something so.." He shrugged with an awkward smile.
"Thank you Edwin." You grinned.
He smiled and leaned back out the car to close the gas tank. Out of no where while he was paying for gas, a skinny black hair guy came up to my window.
"Hey girl how are you?" He asked.
"Umm..ok?" You said caring less.
He laughed and handed you a paper. It had his number. Edwin walked around the car. He was furious. He snatched the piece of paper out my hand.
"What do you want her to do with this? Shove it up her ass?" He yelled.
"Edwin!" I said shocked.
He threw the paper on the ground and as we walked back towards his side of of the car, he slowly grabbed the taser I hid in his car.
"Y/n...roll your window up." He whispered.
I did as he said and the guy walked around the car. Edwin gripped the taser even tighter as he gotten closer.
"Come on man. I was just tryna make the girl's day better." He said with his arms wide open.
"That's my job." Edwin fussed. He closed his door and locked it so he that the friendly stranger couldn't get to me.
I couldn't hear what they were saying. But Edwin was furious. After a few moments, He got really close to Edwin and he tased him. In a panic, I unlocked the door and he zoomed in and we drove off. Our hearts were both beating out our chests. Edwin was staring straight at road. I relaxed a little bit and put my hand on his leg.
"Thank you." I said.
Edwin looked at me and looked away, "You don't need to thank me for that."
"Yes I do Edwin. He could of assaulted me an-and.." I stuttered but yet for interrupted.
"Y/n...you're my best friend. And you don't need to be messed with by perverts like that. I'll fuck them up." He said staring at the road.
I curled back up into the seat, "I still want to thank you. And I'll find a way."
He laughed, "Ok Shorty... we'll see."
