Chapter Two:

Hayes' P.O.V.

I walked home from the skate park because the guys ditched me. When I was still talking to Kenna she wouldn't have ditched me. I miss her so much. As soon as I got to the house I heard a bunch of yelling from Nash's room. (¶-Kenna ☺-Hayes ∆-Nash)

☺"Nash?! What are you yelling about?!"

¶"Hayes?!"

☺"Kenna?"

¶"Nash?! You said he was at the skate park!"

∆"He said he was going! Hayes what are you doing here?!"

☺"The guys ditched me."

¶"Sorry Nash, but I got to go! I can't be here with someone who hates me."

☺""You think I hate you?!"

∆"I wouldn't be surprised if you did."

☺"What do you mean?"

∆"You're so rude to her! You talk about here at her behind her back! You make fun of her! What the hell is wrong with you?! You two have been friends for so long!!

☺"Kenna wait!"

¶"What?!"

☺"I don't hate you..." I couldn't say that without looking down at the floor and start crying.

¶"Hey, don't cry... its ok.

☺"But its not ok. My best friend thinks I hate her and she doesn't understand."

¶"Understand what Hayes?"

☺"Understand how much I love her."

¶"Hayes. Listen its ok I know you don't hate me now."

☺"Kenna, I'm so sorry for everything. I stopped talking to you because the popularity got to me."

¶"Hayes. I'm not here to talk about the popularity. I'm here to talk about us.

☺"What do you mean?"

¶"Can we still be best friends forever?"

☺"Yeah we can. But I'm so sorry."

¶"Hey its alright the big deal is, is that we're friends again!"

☺"Yeah that's right."

¶"Let's go back to your house."

*3 hours later*

¶"Sorry guys I got to go."

∆☺"Bye!!!" I walked at least half a block to my house because Hayes lives in my neighborhood but we aren't next door neighbors. I'm just glad Hayes and I are friends again!(Text ¶Kenna ☺Hayes)

☺Hey Kenna, can you meet me at the park tomorrow?

¶Yeah why is something wrong?

☺No just want to hang out. Oh and bring your skateboard we might also be able to go to the skate park.

¶Ok see you then!

☺Ok Oh my gosh... Does Hayes like me?
