12. Tears. (Battle No. 3)

2nd POV

Jeff, Bloody Painter and EJ were running towards the sound of fighting and clashing of weapons, unaware it was you.
As they turned the corner Jeff saw Dark Link lying up against a wall, clutching his stomach with blood on him.
They all ran over to him.
"Dark, what happened?" Jeff asked as he stopped in front of him.
EJ bent down and looped his arm around Dark and hoisted him up.
"Ugh, I'm ok, But Y/N is..." He mumbled as he tried to open his eyes.
Then they all heard the sound of shouting and Jeff started running.
He turned a corner into a large hallway where he saw Y/N.
He felt his body go stiff as he stared at her, her H/C a mess as she fought ferociously.
Jeff noticed who her opponent was, Nurse Ann.
Y/N noticed Jeff and her eye widened as she jumped back, all of her attention now being focused on him.
"Pay attention to your fight!" Ann screamed as she swung her chainsaw at Y/N's abdomen.
Y/N hissed as she tried to block it with her bat, instead of dodging it fully the sharp chains grazed her arm, blood now running down her arm.
Jeff tried to run and help her, but he was suddenly held back by Helen.
"Let go of me damnit!" He yelled as he tried to get free of Helen's grip.
Helen shook his head, "I understand you miss her Jeff, but let her fight. Your being a distraction and it'll only get her hurt." He replied.
Jeff growled, knowing he was right and turned back to Y/N.

Your POV

I grimaced as blood continued dripping down my arm, soaking my hoodie.
Nurse Ann laughed as she continued running after me and I kept dodging.
I kept occasionally looking over at Jeff, God I just wanted to run in his arms and apologize.
Maybe even tell him how I felt.
But I had to focus now.
"I liked seeing you better with your eye in. The merciless you is better than this wussy pasta personality you have." Anne said as he swung at me again.
I scoffed and jumped to the side, then hit her as hard as I could in her stomach, sending her backwards.
"I never asked for your opinion." I replied.
She growled, but then started laughing as she regained her balance.
"Zalgo will win. You will all die." She said as her red eyes stared into mine.
She grew a smirk and tilted her head "Jeff will die.
I stopped breathing and nearly dropped my bat, "Excuse me?" I asked threateningly.
She chuckled and ran at me.
I grew angry and at the same time felt the rush of sudden power I felt when training.
As she was just centimeters from me, I knocked the chainsaw from her hand and grabbed her throat, holding her in the air.
She gasped and began kicking me, I only squeezed harder.
"Z-Zalgo...will win." Anne said as she parted her lips for air.
I grinned and watched as fire now formed in my hand, burning her throat.
She kicked harder and the sound of sizzling filled my ears.
I chuckled as I watched her struggle, then I looked over, noticing Jeff was still watching.
I dropped her and realized what happened, and felt all my strength disappear.
I fell to the ground, tears now running down my cheeks.
Footsteps ran towards me and I looked up, only to be met with the tight embracement of someone, which was Jeff.
"Jeff, I'm sorry." I said as I hugged him back and started crying.
I felt warm tears on the crook of my neck and his grip tightened.
"Don't leave me again. Promise me Y/N." He said as he looked up at me.
His blue eyes were teary, and I faintly smiled.
"I promise." I replied softly.
Jeff suddenly kissed me, which made my eye widen.
Then I closed my eye and kissed back, wrapping my arms around his neck, deepening the kiss.
I parted and hugged him again, not wanting to let go.
We both opened our mouths to speak, but was then interrupted by a voice.
"Hey guys! We gotta go! There's a lot of demons running our way!" Helen's voice shouted.
Jeff and I both stood up, Helen, EJ, and Dark were standing their seeming anxious.
We both nodded and you picked up your bat.
I looked over at Jeff and smiled then back at everyone else.
"Right, follow me." I said as I started running.
We all started running, the sound of heavy running echoing behind us.
"Zalgo said he erased your memory. But you don't seemed to have lost it." Jeff said as he looked at me, running by my side.
I gulped and nodded, "He gave me an eye that erased my memoires and turned me evil, I fought Hoodie and them in the woods and they got it out then bandaged it." I replied.
Then my brain froze for a second and I stared at him.
"Wait, you ran into him?" I asked.
Jeff nodded, "I wanted to kill him. He took you away." He said as he turned away.
I smiled, but then turned serious.
"If anyone's gonna kill him it's me."
