To My Killer

I don't know what got into me, it all just happened so fast. Being back there, it just brought back too many memories.
"Woah"
'Woah' that's all he could say? 'Woah.'
I don't know what was worse, how I kissed him out of nowhere, or how I punched him right after.

Right by my house there's this old alley. When I first found it, it was dead. No color.
Not for long.
I had always loved graffiti, love how you could make your mark with no one knowing it's yours. A mystery.
It started with just a few flowers here and there; when I needed to blow off some steam. Then the flowers took over the whole place. I eventually ran out of space so I started moving to the roof.
It eventually became my routine, when inspiration struck I would use the walls as my diary. It was mine.

Nothing lasts forever, I was just adding some flowers to the roof when I saw a guy walking into the alley.
I had never seen his face before, I figured he just moved into town. People come and go into this dump, no one stays for too long. But I knew one thing, I could not let him see me.

The thing is, I love graffiti because of its  mystery to it, and I wanted to keep it that way. Just to make sure I would wear what my little brother called my "super suit", and he was so right, because it did make me feel invincible.

I climbed up the rope into the roof. I have never been much of a runner but, a week after I started moving to the roof, I discovered a hole on the roof, how I found it was another rather  embarrassing story. I placed a few boxes over it for emergencies. Like this one.
I jumped down and landed into some old mattresses, he barely got a glimpse of but that was a close call.
He came back every single Friday after that. Fortunately I was always one step ahead of him, and left before he got a chance.
One day everything changed.

"I deserved that." He chuckled.
I stayed quiet.
"Is that all you needed princess? Or should I get out a punching bag?"
His sarcasm only made me angrier. I didn't want to pick a fight, I just, wanted him. So I found myself just hugging him, then crying.
