The Saved Planter

WHAT THE STORY IS ABOUT. 

 A elderly 60 year old lady, Who really loves and cares for plans, gets a terrible lung disease where it makes it hard to breath easily ( All because of littering and pollution- what can kill plants- starts in her state Los Angeles). She ens up in the hospital finding out that she mught only live for what seems for nothing but 6 months. Her daughter Rosa Edwards (Mother Lisa Edwards ) Trys to help her mom. But will she live?? READ ON!!

''Mother, please, will you take a break from all of this planting? After dad passed all you do is PLANT!''

Says daughter Rosa. "Honey,maybe you should get into planting, planting makes me remember about your father." Says her mother. ''Mom, I still think about him, Every time I munch into one of your home-made cookies, I think about how he use to eat them.'' They both giggle. ''I remember that too.'' Says Mrs. Edwards, dropping a seed into a hold, she just finished digging. 

''Well..Call me when your done mom'' Rosa gets into her car. '' Alright honey!!'' Yells Mrs. Edwards. 

----30 mins. Later---

( Mrs.Edwards calls Rosa. ) ''Hello,Mom?'' Says Rosa. ''Yeo, it's me.'' ( Just then Mrs. Edwards coughs into the phone ) ''Mom are you alright?'' says Rosa in a worried tone. ''I'm fine.'' says Mrs.Edwards. ''Well even if you are, I am taking you to the doctor, for a check up.'' Rosa states firmly.

---At the check up--

The doctor walks in with a clip board. ''Mrs.Edwards?'' Says the Lady. ''Mom, C'mon.'' Rosa waves her over. ''Mrs. Edwards, I am afraid to tell you, you have a bad case of Lungs Disease." Says the nurse. Rosa just sits there, with her mouth open. "Close your mouth before something flies in.'' says Mrs. Edwards playfully bewtween coughs. ''IS THERE ANYTHING WE CAN DO??!?'' Shouts Rosa. ''Well.. She needs to stay away from smoky, foggy places.'' says the doctor. "Alright, I guess.'' Says Rosa. ''I will be fine!!'' States her mother. ''Stop the worry!''

-----1 month later ( she has 6 to live ) --

Mrs. Edwards plants a new plant. ''Mom,  it seems that every time you plant a new pant you get better. Maybe I should help. " Just then Rosa gets on her hands and knees to help her mother. ''Thank you Sunshine. '' Says Mrs. Edwards.''Anytime mother'' Says Rosa. ''I suppose I am getting better I have my plants in my living room.'' Said Mrs. Edwards. ''I have mine in my kitchen'' said Rosa. At the moment her mother looks at her in disbelief. ''What?'' said Rosa. 

''Don't you know not to put a plant in the kitchen?!?'' questioned her mother. ''Whats so bad about it??'' Asked Rosa. ''Well honey, you know plants are living things too right?'' Asked her mom.  ''Well EVERYONE should know that!!'' exclaimed her daughter. ''Okay then, well, When you cook stuff...like vegetables.They die. When you eat them, they die. So when you put a plant in the kitchen, you threaten it.'' explains Mrs. Edwards. ''Ohhh Okay. I will make sure to move them '' Says Rosa. ---Next check up ( 2 weeks later )--

Mrs.Edwards the results show that your lungs are more healthy then the last time you came. Says the doctor with the new results. ''YASSSSSSSSSSS BOOYAHH'' Shouts out Rosa. ''Sorry..I'm just so happy!!'' Mrs.Edwards just looks at her like she's crazy. ''Mrs. Edwards maybe if you keep on your planting, you may get better'' states her doctor. ''Alright then'' said Mrs. Edwards as she got up from her chair ''What's up docs'' says Rosa smacking on the carrot. ''WELL WHERE DID YOU GET THAT FROM!?! ''shputs Mrs. Edwards. ''Over there'' Rosa points out a table. her mother reads a sign near by the table '5.00$ Each'. Mrs. Edwards quickly slapped it out fo her hand, grabbed iher wrist, and ran out the door. ''WHY ARE WE RUNNING!?! Yelled Rosa. ''BECAUSE IT WASN'T FREE!!!!!! Responds Mrs.Edwards.

As they run into the parking lot, they squat down beside a car, and slowly  walk to there ride. __________

'' You need to start reading stuff.'' Says Mrs. Edwards ''Well, I didn't know....They we're calling me!'' Admits Rosa. ''Sureee okay.'' says Mrs. Edwards sarcastically while putting her keys down on the kitchen table. '''So mom, I brought you something special!!!'' Yells out Rosa. 

''Oh that wasn't really necessary dear.'' says Mrs. Edwards. ''Well too bad your getting it'' states Rosa while taking out a little bag. ''Well what is it?'' Ask her mother. Mayberry Seeds. I heard they do wonders Incredibal things, I heard it can save people just by planting it.'' says Rosa.'' Well that seed must be as real as a Leprechaun !'' says Mrs. Edwards sarcastically. '' It does work! And if you keep talking about the leprechaun it'll get you!! says Rosa. ''Rosa your 43, Do you still believe in Leprechauns?? Ask Mrs. Edwars. ''Well after I watched the movie when I was 34 I wasn't going to stop. I mean that leprechaun is evil!! Says Rosa.

''Really Rosa.....Really??'' Mrs. Edwards just looks at her daughter. ''Fine, don't  believe it if you want to.'' said Rosa. ''Whatever'' Said Mrs. Edwards taking the seedling bag. ''Lets go plant this seed'' Says mrs. Edwards 

-----4 months later---

Mrs. Edwards, Your getting better!! I don't know what your doing, but I recommend you keep doing what your doing!'' Says the Doctor excitingly. ''I told you mom it's the seed! Says' Rosa. ''Seed ?'' The Doctor and Mrs. Edwards say at the same time. ''Yeah , my mom and I planted a seed that's said to do wonders.'' Explains Rosa to the doctor. ''Oh Wow.'' sayd the doctor amazed. ''Yeah, I know.'' ''It can be another reason for me getting better.'' Says Mrs. Edwards. 'Yeah, That plant!'' says Rosa. ''Whatever!!'' says Mrs. Edwards . ''Mom you can look it up on the internet if you don't believe me.'' Says Rosa. ''Inter-who?'' Ask Mrs. Edwards. ''Jesus, Mom, the internet is a place where you can find a lot of things.'' explains Rosa. ''Don't go calling jesus like that you sound like Sweet Brown, Oh Lord Jesus it's a fire.'' Mimics Mrs. Edwards. ''Mom that's funny.'' Laughs Rosa. ''let's go home dear.'says Mrs. Edwards walking out the door

''Mom, I am so bored!!'' Yells Ros. ''You are a grown woman'' Says Mrs. Edwards. ''What does that have to do with anything?'' ask Rosa. ''Because, Well, Since your like 43 you need to get your butt somewhere and do something!'' says Mrs. Edwards

''Ow, What in the world!?'' Yells Rosa Tripping over vines. ''What happend?'' Ask mrs. Edwards. ''I was trying to go inside from the back, because the door was blocked from those boxes.'' Rosa says as she gets up. ''Well I guess I need to cut them.'' says Mrs.Edwards. ''Okay'' answers Rosa. As they go inside they see a little butterfly on the dining room chair. ''Ooh Pretty'' says Rosa. Mrs. Edwards gets the butterlfy on her finger, walks to the door and let it loose. ''mom you know we are gonna have to go to the doctor tomarrow, right?''

ask Rosa, ''Yep'' Answers Mrs. Edwards. ''Okay  just making sure''

''Well, we are here doc!'' Says Rosa. ''Oh, Nice to see you guys today, let me just take a look at her lungs.'' Says the doctor, She gets the X-Ray scann and five minutes later... Mrs. Edwards, I have to tell you!! You are 10X better!!'' says the doctor in amazemnt. ''MOM DID YA HERE THAT  MAMA YURR BETTA ALREADY!'' Says Rosa sounding a bit, TOO country. ''Yes, I heard dear.'' Says Mrs. Edwards
