Markus was panting as he heard the loud gunfire and booming thunder of the rain overhead. Arianna was staring out the shattered back window with a bit of fear but she was utterly happy to finally have been free from 14 days locked away and tortured. She wasn't even worried about anything other than the distance she got between her and the Kingdom. She then looked back at Markus. Unaware of how nervous and scared he was. Swerving through the city streets packed with debris and bodies. As the storm got harsher, the more fog and mist started to roll in. The storm quickly turned sour as it started to really down pour. Causing Markus to loose his sight on the road. But he managed to make it down to the main street that ran through town. Driving all the way down to the first stop light intersection before he had to slam on the pickup trucks breaks. Seeing a four car pile up on the side of the road as he was swerving straight for it. He narrowly missed the crash site and giggled. Taking his eyes off the road as the two laughed about the near death experience. When suddenly Markus slammed his truck into a stumbling beast and screamed aloud.

Arianna clutched the safety handle in the cab and buckled herself in with the speed of the lightning that struck nearby. Markus started to faint before even trying to buckle himself in. Letting go of the steering wheel as the truck swerved around violently before slamming into a lamp post. Arianna head slammed into the dashboard and sent her into a forced coma. While Markus had slammed into the steering wheel and passed out. Leaving his body pressed against the horn to call out to the city for any roaming beasts.

The day slowly shifted towards night. Pure darkness surrounded the crashed vehicle. But that wasn't the only thing swarming the crash site. As nearly 100 to 200 stumbling raging beasts, thirsting for flesh and blood, had swarmed every side of the vehicle about thirty bodies deep. The storm was harsh and the only sound that could be heard between the thunder and lightning, were the collective screams and cries of souls pleading for death and food. But the received nothing in return.

Arianna groaned as she rubbed her head. Finding a bit of blood coming from a cut along her forehead. Then she looked to her left and saw Markus sleeping in the seat. So she groaned and nudged him. Hoping he would wake up. Sure enough. He awoke with frightened screaming and looked around frantically with his arms up in defense.

Arianna: Whoa woah. easy there cowboy... We're still in the truck...

Markus: Ugghhh g-god damn it... I.. I can't believe i just did that.

Arianna: I can't believe it either. But we also have more pressing matters to attend to. Like... How the hell are we even going to get out of here? There has to be... a dozen... maybe more outside. and i don't exactly have my weapons...

Markus: Neither of us do so yeah. we're kinda stuck here for the time being...

Arianna: No shit. I already pointed that out.

Markus: Oh. Well I'm sorry that i can't think of anything original to think of, because if you hadn't noticed, IM kinda freaking out right now and I'm trying to keep it controlled but that is very hard right now!

Arianna: Ok, Ok, Ok. calm down. Im just as scared as you are. And I'm sure theres some way out of this... I mean... Theres an open back window. Maybe we can get into the bed and try to look around. See what our options are.

Markus: Options? OPTIONS?! Do you honestly think that we have any choices to make right now?!

Arianna: You never fucking know if you don't try to search out the options. Now come on. Lets go look.

Arianna had to unbuckle herself and then struggle to get out of the seat. her legs were numb and tingly from the harsh stopping they had earlier. Markus struggled to get out of his own seat and had to break the steering wheel off from its own axle just so he could get free. Taking it with him in case he needed some sort of a weapon. Arianna groaned as she crawled over broken glass and other debris from the battle. She was the first to step out into the bed of the pickup and in turn, climbed to the top of the cab to try and look around. Struggling not to be blown over from the harsh wind. Markus got out and stood in the bed of the truck. Wincing as he looked down and to the crowd of 30 to 40 walkers on every single side.
