Hailey's POV

"Evyn! I'm so sorry Hemmings, Evyn's is a little on edge right and doesn't know how to stop being a bi-" "No no, Hailey it's fine I understand. So, where you guys heading?" Oh what? Now he wants to know where I live? "Oh, right down the street to the right. What about you?" As we walk behind Evyn who's obnoxiously kicking rocks and twigs. "Same way just after that take a left. So what, are we 'walking home buddies' now?" I giggle at his little remark. Goodness, Luke was wonderful to be around just I don't feel like dating anymore.

Luke, he's something else he made faces at Evyn the whole walk home. About almost to the end of the park he steals my phone out of my hands. "Luke Hemmings give me my phone back!" As he thumbs something in my phone. He locks my phone and hands it back to me with an evil little look. "This is my stop. I'll see you tomorrow?" I say as we make our way towards my house. "Yes of course. Hopefully tomorrow during biology i dont get called out again. See you later Potes." "Bye Hemmings."

"So, who was that exactly Hailey?" Oh my goodness Evyn was so nosey I swear. I'm happy I only have to walk her on the first day of school cause my parents are coming back tonight. "Just a new friend. Now go do your homework you litt-" I was interuppted by loud knocks. "Leave Evyn." I open the door to greet a very happy and jumpy Carrie. Since she was my bestfriend she let herself in and there was nothing wrong about that. "Hailey. You. Won't. Beleive!!" As usual Carrie was always happy, but this seemed different cause she couldn't stay still.

"Carrie, I love seeing you happy but please stop yelling Evyn is ticked off and shes being a little bi-" Again interuppted by Evyn slamming her door. "Okay I'm sorry but okay. This junior just asked me on a date! Tomorrow night! Calum Hood. He's extremely attractive. He seems a little Asian but he claims not to be. So, what should I wear?!" This is a great moment cause Carrie told herself she was never gonna love again and here she is, being the Carrie I know and love. "You should wear your- wait where are you guys going?" "He's taking me to a fancy resteraunt." Well Carrie only a few dresses but there was a particular one I loved seeing her in. "Got it, baby curl your hair not too much make probably just eyeliner mascara and foundation. Your gold faith chain, with your white laced high low and black laced flats." I felt like a beauty guru at that moment.

Carrie left and I went to talk to Evyn again. I knocked and no one answered so I did the usual and just walked in. She was curled up in the corner of her bed. "Evyn? You okay?" I asked through her sobs. "What happened?!" I ran to her as she cried harder. I couldn't make out a word she said. I heard a voice calling my name from down my driveway which paniced me more cause if I left Evyn would feel abandoned but if I didn't leave the voice would continue. "Evyn c'mon stop crying. Please, for now. We can talk about this later."

I emerge myself from her room as she sits there sniffling. I go down to my driveway to see a smiling Luke. "Mr.Hemmings. What would you be doing around my house?" I giggle at the way I was speaking. "I was wondering if you and Evyn wanted to come to the park with me and Stacy?" I see a shy girl about Evyn's age come out from hiding. "Let me go get Evyn."
