Nightmare

A/N sorry that i haven't updated in a while! Been busy with school! And I know that it's short, I ran out of ideas !

I ran faster towards the light at the end of the forest. The moon light shining trough the leaves had been very beautiful,if the monster wasn't there .
I looked behind me,the monster was coming closer.
As I ran trough the woods towards the light I heard laughter  and taunting.
"Useless"
"Worthless"
" waste of space"
I tripped on a root and went crashing into the ground.
I tried to stand up and run towards the light. The light was so close now.
A sharp pain went through my ankle.
I heard a deep voice behind me Andre suddenly everything turned pitch black.
"Time to die you useless child."

"Y/N Wake up!"
I woke up crying and in Ed's arms.
I hugged Ed tight.
"Ed,the m-monster was chasing me and t-taunting me and-"
"It's okay,you're safe now" Ed said and kissed my forehead
"It's just a nightmare."
I hugged Ed closer.
"I know but, it was still terrifying. I said  
And started to release my grip on Ed.
Ed laid me down onto the bed and tucked me in.
"Y/n,when I have nightmares I close my eyes  and think of something that makes me happy." Said Ed
"Like you." Smiled Ed
I smiled at his words.
Ed laid down beside me and hugged me close.
I leaned my head against his Chest.
I started to calm down. I listened to his hearth beat and closed my eyes.

Ed stroked my hair and kissed my forehead. The last thing I heard before falling asleep was.

"I'll keep the monsters away."
